I agree. TLC is also showing Jon and Kate in happy commercials. I think there is a lot of tension.

Wow, Jon just said "we can be friends" referring to Kate. I don't know. Doesn't sound good. I think they will divorce and are separated, but keep filming for the $$.

I hoped that there would be some sort of sense that Jon and Kate still had some feelings left for each other.

Wow is all I can say. The whole thing with Kate saying I so tired I have to do everything alone. They dont seem to love each other at all.

Kate never let Jon finish a single sentence. Just now, and possibly for the first time ever,she said, "I'm only speaking for myself..." and it came out as an accusation.

I believe in marriage, but I think the best thing for the kids would be to have their parents divorced. There are eight kids here who are absorbing & modeling Jon & Kate's behaviors. That's eight kids who are learning to belittle their father and ultimately their spouse, be mean, nasty, harsh critical, treat your spouse as a second class whipping dog.

The best thing that could happen for these kids, in my opinion is to see their father in a different, hopefully happy marriage, where he's appreciated, treated kindly and thoughtfully and as an equal. That he's with a spouse who considers his thoughts instead of finishing his sentence like she knows better. maybe then, some of these kids will possibly have a good marriage of their own some day, instead of a repeat of their parents.

I think it was so distastful, and not in the keeping of the theme of the show of septs and twins for TLC initial intent. The kids deserved an airing of the best party ever to keep memories from on tape....not the insertion of this parental issues.

I can not believe the low life not any better then the paperazzi they had for ratings!
I thought they were doing a seperate episode special on the parent things.
So wrong........It was a birthday party mark of 5 years for special kids and the network marred it not celebrated.

I loved the little "montoge" (is that the right word??) of the kids from the past five years - I'm all teary!! Maybe it's because my baby will be 5 on 7/15 I know my DS4 says a lot of things that sound very grown up and he's VERY lovey as well so people could see those snipets of my day and wonder why he's constantly telling me that he loves me. I can really see how the editing could have that effect.

It was nice to see Kate show emotion again - I'm sorry for the circumstance for her to show the emotion.

I too would have left my kids at home to decorate for the party or kept them busy with something else so I could get the decorations up before the guests got there.

I think it's weird how they were focused on divorce rates, how they could give the kids the best of both of them, they were both there for the kids, ect. It seems like they would have been screaming from the rooftops that we're trying to work on this despite our hurt feelings right now.

If the children are noticing the paparazzi following them every where they go, it is time to STOP the show and end this madness .

Since all of this has started neither one of them has shown any love for the other one. If Kate is saying it has been going on for 6 months, then maybe what Jodi and Kevin said is true. Jon didn't cheat on Kate because she had her permision. It's all so sad. The kids seem to really miss Jon. It's pretty obvious he's not home all the time.

Me too. Wow, it really seemed like they were done with each other. I couldn't help, I cried when they both said that even if the relationship doesn't work out, they will be able to be there for their kids, that it's important for their kids to see them together. I'm sad and I bet the sextuplets have no idea...how nice that when they're older they can watch their 5th b-day on the show and see how their parents acted as if they didn't love each other anymore. They really should've seperated this episode into 2.

I couldn't decide if it was anger or denial. maybe both? Kate seems to be in denial about some things .. like whether or not it's a good idea to keep doing this show. if she strays from her mantra that this is all for the kids, then everything falls apart, KWIM?
