Kate, her brother & sil, may not get along but they (brother & SIl) have little regard for the children or they would no be blabbing Jon & Kate's dirty laundry to a rag-mag.

Most rag-mags pay for these types of interviews.

Ok I'm sure this article's been posted here lately (http://www.usmagazine.com/news/fami...suspicious-of-kate-and-her-bodyguard--2009125) but rereading it, this REALLY stuck out to me:

(Neild's wife Gina, a one-time close friend of Kate's, tells Us local and online talk of an affair is "ridiculous"; Kate has confessed she and Jon might split in the same interview she says she is "horrified" by any allegations suggesting she and Neild are romantically involved; TLC refused comment.)

"a one-time close friend"....does that mean they're not friends any more or what?? Maybe that's how he got the job being the bodyguard because Kate knew the wife?? I so would not be a good writer for stories like these because I wouldn't be able to write and leave people hanging or having to decide in their mind what things meant...I'd want to spell everything out.

Another busy morning here! We leave this afternoon for a non-Disney vacation. I'm sure when I come back next week there will be a new thread! :)

I didn't know if they had two parties. I asked because someone said they were heard arguing at the birthday party, and I didn't see that in the video, or it being reported, so I asked if there were two. That said, am I the only one that had family party's and children's party's for my kids? Sometimes we had three parties.
I guess in this case Kate is bad if she has an additional family party and a party for the show, or she is bad if she only has a public party LOL.

Since I have read that Jodi and Kevin haven't talked to J & K in a year (their interview), and I have read that K has locked J out according to Jodi, (or does he now live above the garage LOL) and that Kate told her the twins know what's going on (even thought Jodi and Kate haven't talked in a year), and that TLC people told Kevin that they can hardly get 15 minutes taped (and the TLC people must not have been afraid they would lose their job, going to Kate's family, that they know don't talk with each other), that the party was in their yard, and that the party was in the water park, I have seen pics where they seem to be amicable, I have read that they hardly spoke to each other, I have read that Kate is having an affair, I have read Jon chatted with the affairee. I read an interview supposedly by Neild's wife saying her and Kate are friends, now I see they used to be, I've read this was their first time together (J & K) in two weeks, but they were shown together at their house playing with the dogs, last week, Yep, I really know what to believe LOL.

So, they had a "fake" birthday party for their "reality" show?
Then a "real" birthday party privately?

Yep, I really know what to believe LOL.

which is exactly why I won't be surprised if this whole thing turns out to be a load of crap. none of it makes sense. too much conflicting information.

I read on one of these posts, that they had the "fake/staged" reality show party, and then a separate party. (at a water park, I think).

the bouncy house was at the Gosselin's house, but the main party (I think) with all the kids was at the water park. they were 2 separate filmings, but I'm not sure they were 2 different parties.

The Gosselins did commercials for Night at the Museum-the Smithsonian or whatever it's called. Last night on TLC, on the show Table for 12, there were commercials called "Gosselins at the Museum". They would show the Gosselins looking at a display about Amelia Earhart, then a clip of the movie featuring Amelia Earhart. They'd show the Gosselins looking at a dinosaur skeleton, then show a clip of the movie where the dinosaur skeleton comes to life.
Thinking about it now, I wonder if they were actually filmed at the Smithsonian? I don't remember an episode where they went to that kind of museum. Maybe a trip to D.C. is an episode on the upcoming season? And so they made sure they were filmed visiting and commenting on the movie-related exhibits while they were there, for these commercials. That would really cut down on the spontanaeity, but I'm sure Kate would consider spontanaeity overrated ;).
I have to say they really are seizing every business opportunity they can.

Now that the sextuplets have turned five, has it been mentioned whether they will be starting kindergarten in the fall? Do you think they will be held back a year?

They are currently in Nursery School and I'm sure they will be in Kindergarten in the fall. Why would they be held back a year?

Sorry....the picture was so dang cute I had to toss it in here...:rolleyes1

Oh my...I do believe in love at first sight! What a beautiful little puppy!! Be sure and takes lots of pictures while it is still small, they grow so fast and my 1 regret is that we didn't take more pictures of ours when it was a puppy.

I've seen it mentioned on other sites that they're registered for kindergarten.

I saw those also and wondered if that was considered a commercial which would might make the children actors? Then you get into child working labor laws. Just throwing that out there.

It is not uncommon for parents to hold their kids back so they start kindergarten at 6 instead of 5. I have seen a number of threads about it on the dis-it is sometimes called "redshirting". Cut off dates vary between states/towns. If the cutoff date is September 1 (kids must be five by September 1) parents of kids with summer birthdays or even May birthdays will hold their kids back so they enter kindergarten at age 6. Some full day kindergartens are very "academic" in focus and the parents feel their kids are not ready.

I didn't do this myself, our cutoff was October 31 and my dd with October birthday started full day kindergarten at 4 and turned five the second month of school.
I was just wondering about the Gosselins.

I really think Kate is 100% about the kids.I know she has an up front ( not sure what to call it) personally but i truly think all the Jon mess really hurts her.

Ive watch table for 12 a few times (what a cute family!) but man J & K's kids seem so much more well behaved and i think that is because Kate is the way she is with them. I will be really sad to see the show go away if it does. I loved watching the kids grow up, there all so cute.
