The Gosselins did commercials for Night at the Museum-the Smithsonian or whatever it's called. Last night on TLC, on the show Table for 12, there were commercials called "Gosselins at the Museum". They would show the Gosselins looking at a display about Amelia Earhart, then a clip of the movie featuring Amelia Earhart. They'd show the Gosselins looking at a dinosaur skeleton, then show a clip of the movie where the dinosaur skeleton comes to life.
Thinking about it now, I wonder if they were actually filmed at the Smithsonian? I don't remember an episode where they went to that kind of museum. Maybe a trip to D.C. is an episode on the upcoming season? And so they made sure they were filmed visiting and commenting on the movie-related exhibits while they were there, for these commercials. That would really cut down on the spontanaeity, but I'm sure Kate would consider spontanaeity overrated

.
I have to say they really are seizing every business opportunity they can.
