They are filming again, show must go on. I wonder if we will see more Jon and Kate filming apart more this season? One parent doing things with the kids at a time?

One thing is for sure they have a lot of coverage on them now a days. I wonder if the kids notice the extra attention? They have to notice the extra cars and people trying to capture pictures?

Outside Saturday, her minivan and two cars affiliated with the TLC show Jon and Kate Plus Eight were trailed by about five cars filled with paparazzi to the Party City in Reading, Penn., where she and all eight Gosselin kids shopped for supplies.

So Kate took the little mini van (holds four her and Jon said before right) and let the rest ride in two other cars? Why wouldn't she just take the big van so they could all ride together? I'm not trying to pick it apart (really I'm not!) it just doesn't make sense to me.... And five cars of paparazzi?? How crazy is that?

Love the dresses the girls have on in the picture in the second link.

Ok...unless the good stuff came after the first minute, looks like a regular kid party to me! I have to say whoever parked that big van though did a great job - it's VERY close to the vehicle in front of it! I would've crashed for sure!

Also found this interesting in the article below the video:

A large inflatable moon bounce, shaped like a castle, was constructed on site at the Gosselin's Reading, PA. home.

Everything else we'd read says it was at some water park or something right????

I also wonder if those parents had to sign off on having their kids on the show. I would think there's something they'd have to sign to say they could be on the show and they wouldn't be compensated for their time. Wouldn't this cause more problems for them at school?? I could see the party attendees wanting to watch to see when they'd be on tv. Hopefully the moms and dads will be able to only watch the "party" portion of Monday's show (it's still scheduled to be on then correct?). I would assume they'd show the party stuff first and save the rest until the end - I would hope for any kid's sake trying to see if they'll be on tv. (thinking they'll have the viewers for the entire hour).

Why is TLC saying, "Jon and Kate will face each other for the first time" Shame on TLC.
It makes it sound like they haven't talked to each other since Feb.

I don't know but after seeing all these videos/pictures it's getting ridiculous trying to figure out what's going on with the Gosselins. I'm really starting to lean toward it being a publicity stunt especially after seeing J&K together at the party, Kate taking the kids to the store, Jon picking up the tups at school and then Jon & the bodyguard chatting at the kids party. If the animosity is sooo terrible (as Jodi & Kevin claim) then wouldn't you think J&K wouldn't even be able to be civil to one another? The video of the party they were talking and I didn't see anything wrong in their body language or gestures. It's all so weird and my brain hurts from trying to figure it out!!

How many of us moms here would really want our kids b-day party all over the internet or filmed for TV for everyone (normal people and the perverts) to see? I honestly would not want my girls out there like that.

As for J&K seeing each other for the 1st time since this scandal, I don't buy that. TLC is really trying to ramp up the drama and it's sick. J&K shouldn't be talking on camera about their marriage problems for the whole world to criticize. Geez, is anything off limits for the camera?

At this point I honestly don't know what is going on. All I know is that if this is a big publicity stunt, then that is really sick. Bad Karma for sure.

the way things have gone at my house in the last week, Mother's Day seems like a lifetime ago. LOLOL ..

I'm guessing it's a little of both reality and also played up to increase viewers.

I think they really are having marital problems, whether or not there's actually been affairs. Their body language on the interview seat at the end of last season was really cold compared to other seasons and they looked truly disgusted with each other.

However, I also think that they both like the money and being celebrities and are at least somewhat enjoying all the attention. Kate's out everywhere in front of photographers and continuing her book tour even though she says she wants to deal with things privately. Jon isn't in front of the cameras as much, but he's still out there as well. They're still parading the family in front of cameras and doing an awful lot to encourage the hype. They could easily have found a private venue for that party, even if they were filming for the show, that prevented paparazzi from videotaping and taking pictures. I think they both like the attention, the money, the freebies and they've just become bigger than ever with the recent scandals. I think they're both very excited to see the number of viewers for their season premiere and love seeing themselves on the covers of magazines.
