I think what everyone is missing from the interview is that Kate says people are calling about her hair. Really, does she think she is the next Rachael? I think she just said that because she knows everyone hates it. I don't get the back? I really want to like it but I just can't. Sometimes the front looks good and then there is the rooster on the back and I go back to not liking it.

That interview is all kinds of wrong in so many ways even before the current information that has come to light. Admitting being scared and not saying no this has gone too far, stop this show it is not worth it. Saying you love the studio, that is IMOP a very bizarre interview, I mean Kate's answers. Really that just sits very badly with me.

I agree.. It's all about the kids.. I'm not interested in Jon & Kate's marital affairs (although it would be great if they could reconcile, go into counseling, and live as a family again - happily ever after).. That has been my opinion long, long before any of this recent stuff came to light - and will remain my opinion - until it appears that the children are their number 1 priority..

As for the way Kate currently "looks" - I'm not crazy about the "spike" on the back of her head, but there is no denying that she is a very attractive woman.. I've always felt that way - and even though there are things I don't care for about her (as well as Jon) - I've always enjoyed listening to her speak (when she wasn't screaming at the kids and/or Jon - and wasn't publicly humiliating Jon).. She has a very nice voice.. But again, that's just my opinion..

If things continue the way they are, I think TLC will have no choice but to cancel the show - unless Kate and Jon agree to air their dirty laundry in public - to continue making money.. I really don't think they would go that far - but who knows?

I can say honestly that I did not watch the last season that much because I was kind of sick of the whole thing. I mean it was not real to me. Now that this has happened I will be tuning in, even though the new bachlorette is on, to see what is happening. I know it is wrong and I know there are kids involved but I can't help myself and I am sure that TLC knows that there are people out there like me. I wish I was a stronger person. Now if they don't talk about it, then I will not be tuning in again. I hate to say it and I wish I would not do it but I can't help it.

Kate is accused of cheating with her bodyguard. Kevin and Aunt Jodi told their story to Star Magazine and then Radaronline has the video of it. Basically they say that Jon came to them 6 months ago because he thought Kate was cheating on him with her bodyguard. Then they say that Kate told Jon it's over (ie: their marriage) 6 months ago. Apparently Kate drew up some kind of contract that allowed Jon girlfriends so long as he continued with the show. Kevin and Jodi urged Kate to stop trading her marriage and family for fame.

Then there was talk of her clothes, hair, shoes, hair, shirt, hair, jacket, hair and then some more about her hair!

Everyone feels bad for the kids and have been expressing their concern on here.

Oh, and Aunt Jodi's sister Julie has resurfaced and confirmed the mess J&K are in too.

I think that about does it. Wait, did I mention we all talked about her hair??

Good job summing up the past 25 pages. You forgot that Jon apparently took Kate's new contract to heart and got the girlfriend, who's brother threw them both under the bus.

yes, we talked about her "hair" or whatever it is, but you forgot to mention hat we all universally dislike her hair and can't believe that she wears it that way, TLC allows her to wear it that way, and no one has told her to stop wearing it that way.

(I still think that TLC secretly lets her continue wearing her hair that way as way to make her look ridiculous to watchers - like how they show her tantrums and verbal abuse and such. I think they are telling her it is chic and laughing behind her back the whole time - trying to make her look like white trash)

I wonder when this interview was done...I mean Kate just came out in People that they have been having issues but none of that is mentioned here? It had to be a few weeks ago.

And the hair comment....I guess she really thinks it looks good.

Yes, I'm sure her stylist get calls from across the country - begging him to stop doing whatever it is! Everyone wants to talk to him to see if he is for real about it, or just seeing how ridiculous he can make her look and get away with it. Honestly, it is some guy in Reading PA for gosh sake, it's not like its a Manhattan stylist. I swear this is a case of the "Emperor's new Clothes" Everyone around her tells her it looks good, and she parades all around proud of it, while all the while everyone is laughing.

hmmmm, I am not sure it has. These children are performers and are working.

Unfortunately though, this is a reality show and the same rules do not apply. These kids should have a portion of the money being paid to the family in an individual account for each kid. The are strict laws and rule governing the payment of monies to young performers. Right now everything is in mom and dad's name, because it is a reality series. And I don't think mom and dad are thinking too clearly right now. These kids aren't being given any consideration.

This is going the route of the The Loud Family, the 1970's reality family. All have come out and said THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER done the reality series had they known the awful effects it would have on the family. '

I would love to see two things happen. First TLC should be flooded with calls and emails demanding this series be pulled. It is an insult to the public. Secondly, there should be a call for lawmakers to include young performers in reality series to be treated and guarded by the same laws that govern all young performers.

I really don't care about her hair....if she likes it great...that's really all that matters to me. There's a lady in my bible study group that has some really weird haircut, but do I care...nope...I'm sure she likes it.

I think people should focus on stuff that matters and how she cuts her hair isn't really one of them...

it really does bother me that much. The reason is like she said herself, "It is her ATTITUDE!" Her hairstyle to me is absolutely a symbol of her and her attitude - EXTREME. She, and what she has done to her kids and family, and the public, all sicken me, as does her hair. Criticizing her hair is the same as critcizing her attitude. I don't like either. She is oblivious to public opinion of her hair just as she is oblivious to public opinion about her mothering, role as wife, and her personality. I really think she thinks she is adored by the public as a "supermom" (well even Rachel Ray said this) and thinks it is just the tabloids out to get her. Just as she is oblivious to the fact that most think she is bossy and horrible, she is oblivious about how stupid her hair looks. She is that full of herself. That is why I can't stand it, it is a symbol of her.

You know - I meant to respond yesterday or the day before - when someone mentioned how much Jon and Kate earn per episode.. Immediately the thought popped into my head, "Why aren't the children being paid??" I mean after all - if there were no children, there would be no show..

If Kate actually demanded that Jodi not be paid for being on the show, shouldn't she have been demanding that her children be paid? And shouldn't the money be set aside in protected accounts solely for them??

The children can't get paid, because they aren't "working" according to Kate, they are just playing and having fun. Only she and Jon are "working". TO pay the kids would be to admit that they were "working" and then child labor laws would apply, and we all know those kids are working some crazy hours.

You put it well. It's so sad. Will anyone tell Kate (and Jon) this is REAL LIFE? Their children deserve a better childhood than a reality show that they can't possibly consent to. It's time to shut down the cash cow, get some major family counseling, and PUT THE KIDS FIRST.
