Your mileage may vary..in other words we may have different opinions

We talked aboout this over the weekend as we gathered with relatives. Lots of different opinions, but for the most part, people felt it opens up a lot of opportunities for the kdis, with bonus trips and fun places to go.
I'm still waiting for someone to tell me if they know anything more about their college education. It really appears tome that the state did not offer to pay for it, but only to set up an account if someone would like to give to it.
IMO (in my opinion), college is a very big part of this. College could cost 1 -2 million by the time they are ready to go. Maybe at this tiem, their parents still feel they are protected enough that it's worth it. For other parents, like yourself, it may not be worth it. As I said before, these are not the first kids to go through this, and there have been some very real success stories from kids who have grown up in show business, not just bad stories. It just doesn't seem to be like the kids of the 50's that Paul Peterson talked about.
