Another thing.. Has anyone noticed lately that during the interview time, Kate always looks uncomfortable and always playing with her left earring. ALWAYS! She never looked so out of sorts before as she has in the last few episodes. It's kinda looked like when you do something wrong and you have to twirl your hair or bite your nails...

I think it would be perfectly normal to have a nervous little habit when being filmed for television. Nothing wrong with that. Wouldn't you be self conscious being filmed for a national audience?

The nervous little habit was not there prior to the middle of this season. So why all of a sudden ? This is her 4th season, I would think she is over the self conscious part. IMO. I may just need to use that off button. Thank you for the advice

Yes Aiden was cute with the paint on his face and asking for a paper towel. But by 3yrs old my kids always said "please" and "thank you" all the time. I did hear kate say "say 1 2 3 thank you" and that's just what the kids did. But mine were taught to say it without me having to remind them. And I know alot of other mothers who did the same thing.

Before the new episodes last night, they showed the episode where Jon and Kate brought the kids to see the new house for the first time. Kate was doing the girls' hair and was telling them about buying the new house, I think the child asked how many bedrooms it had, and Kate told her and explained "that's why mommies and daddies have to go to work everyday." So I guess the kids understand on some level that the show is a job for their parents-not like other kids whose parents might have a "regular job". You know how kids get to that stage when they realize every other family is not like their own? I just thought that was interesting.

That's pretty funny, and I will say that I remember watching that episode and thinking that it was one of Kate's rudest moments. -At least to me, those comments were pretty rough.

I know I will play with my earring when I'm sitting working/reading on the computer.

Don't know why anyone would be bothered by such a thing. Seems so silly to even bother typing it out on a message board.

I'm sure we all have little habits that would annoy others.

No, I don't think that's it. I think it's because the facade is crumbling. She is in total defense mode with every choice she makes. What a sad place to be. Sometimes I think she's going to pull that ring right out the bottom of her ear lobe. Doesn't anyone advise them? Who edits the show to let her say she is "culturing her kids" two or three times? Isn't that what you do to bacteria? Who truly looks out for and cares about these people? I hope someone does and steps up soon.

I don't think they're going for perfection. It's a reality show, and I think they're trying to make it as real as possible. I don't think they want to edit every little thing they say or mistake they make, because I think that's part of the draw.

one of the hottest things in advertisements are endorsement deals...A Lot of people tivo shows and fast forward through commercials. Advertisers are trying to get people to notice their products more & more, and it's ALL over J&K+8.....Gymboree, Ann Taylor, Crocs, Lane Furniture, Juicy juice, Little Tykes, V Tech, johnson & Johnson....It goes on & on.....

I am starting to notice more and more shows that are doing this. A couple of nights ago I was watching a regular TV show, I can't remember which one , they focused in on a soda can even though it had no bearing on what was going on.

She wore them, when they picked up the puppies.

I wear comfortable shoes when I go to the mall shopping and I feel like such a schlup when I see women in these high heel boots or shoes, but their feet have to ache when they get home. My feet and legs kill me after shopping.

Thank You! I would pay several thousand of dollars to learn your trick of teaching your kids to say please and thank you all the time without being reminded, ever! Any advise would be greatly appreciated, my kids do a good job and try hard, but sometimes they forget.

I wonder if she dresses up more when she is being taped. If you're going to be on national television and inspected by a fine toothcomb by blogs dedicated to you maybe you try and dress up a little.

But then she has appeared in her pjs so who knows.
