Jon and Kate Plus 8 official Thread, Part 2!!

What got me is that in the one story their PR person said Jon was visiting his Mom and in the other the TLC rep said that Jon was helping with a sick family member (could be the other way around, I didn't go back to check). You would think they would have one reason.

And Madge I agree. I'd be telling People, Newsweek, CNN Headline News, who ever would listen, not just Radar Online. I hadn't even heard of them until the whole OctoMom drama started.

Both "stories" could be true as I have read she (Mama G) broke her foot or had recently had foot surgery. Where are his two bros? Are they both close by? I think Mark lives near the mom.

I guess I thought they would have all their "ducks in a row" with this, esp. because of the tone of the article. They had to know that it wasn't a puff piece by the questions the reporters were asking.

Maybe Jon is trying to reconcile with his Mom and offered to help her out since he doesn't have a job other than filming 3-4 days a week and snowboarding the rest of the days (per Jon in his Utah interview) and his brothers probably do work regular 9-5 jobs.

The National Enquirer broke the story about John Edwards. I'm just sayin'...

there have been reports (not just on GWoP) of Jon hanging out in bars in Pennsylvania and Utah. this may be an innocent fan shot, but it has an equal chance of being something more.

Jon Gosselin chose to make a statement about it on RadarOnline... the same site that Octomom uses... looks pretty tabloidy to me.

the "tabloids" get knocked allot but you look to their track record and in recent years their investigators have dug up info. long before the main stream media has gotten ahold of it. we lived near modesto when lacey peterson went missing and the tabloid reporters were dogging the area and investigating hard core very early on. some of their info. led to leads that police and prosecuters were thrilled to pursue.

i tend to think that their fact checking is pretty thourough-a friend was the subject of a very positive national enquirer article some years back and the fact checking they did on her before they ran the pc. was exhaustive. you would tend to think that if a publication is going to that extent on a complimentary article where there's little to no chance of a defamation lawsuit they would be rabid on fact checking a negative article for someone easily able to afford "lawyering up".

Several months ago I first saw them there. I find the site mildly entertaining and don't find them especially irresponsible. I check them out on Tuesdays, that's about it. I know they are a bad word here.

Some of the comments associated with the "college girl" pics at the pressi blog address posted earlier today sound like they think he is a complete dork.
That "celebrity news bit" (gossip video thing) at the pressi blog was HARSH. "Kissing girls on the neck and mouth!" "Acting like an idiot!" Say it isn't so.

Those people (kids) commenting that he should leave are just bashing Ms. Katie. Surely nobody really wants the kids to be without their Dad.
Jon is suffering from perpetual adolesence. Having a slew of kids doesn't cure it either.

I wish that were the case. The livejournal community is the worst about those comments. Things along the lines of "get out while you still can," "He can call me...I'd make it all better," "I'd be in bars if my wife popped out six little ***** who took over my life," etc. And those are the DIS-appropriate ones!!

That's interesting. I haven't heard anything about any of Jon's siblings other than he has them. I do think the kids are well behaved when they are out, it's when they are home that they are crazy...but I think that is normal.

Jon strikes me as the guy that would walk around the office and talk more than work for some reason. I don't know why. Not that I think he is lazy, he just seems like he likes to chat and stuff. Don't really know why I think that..

Why does Jon look really weird in all of these pictures that keep popping up? At first I thought maybe it was a strange moment when the shutter snapped, but he looks...older? Or something. Is he wearing make-up on the show? I never thought it wasn't him (like some other's have mentioned), but the more I see these, the more he looks really odd. Not just drunk, but different.

and this, my friends .. is the garbage those kids will see someday when they're old enough to Google.

Comes with the territory when you're celebrities, I guess.

I don't understand why people need to do that to the kids. Okay, Mady has some issues, but to label a picture of her like that is just wrong. I was reading some things about Hannah on GWOP today too. Someone was saying that her "unfortunate looks" are the reason that Kate "protects" her. She's a little girl. She may be favored, but blame the mother for that if you want to blame someone, not the 4 year old.

I think he is drunk and flushed; but also he looks botoxed, chemical peeled, and tight/expressionless. He looks like a weird mannequin in that Utah interview (as opposed to a normal mannequin!). I have said it before; he and Kate use to be adorable, now they both look like aliens (from planet "Hollywood") to me. In person, I bet it is freaky!

Posters being cruel to the kids...not cool at all.

One brother is older, and one younger. One of them coaches college soccer I think. I wish I knew if they have wives and kids. Why aren't they around?! I know, I know they could be, but I never get that impression. No talking about, no family pictures of, no cousins, no nothing! Hasn't Jon been showing up at these bars alone? I love knowing the dynamic of a family in that regard (brothers, cousins, siblings, spouses, etc.), not watching them clean appliances and renew their vows with no one sharing in it they've seen in the past decade! I want relationships people!

Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen that pic yet. Honestly though, to me this still looks like it could very well be a "hey will you take a pic with me." I mean it looks pretty evident that they're posing and looking at whoever's taking the pic, so I guess for me I wouldn't think Jon would be volunteering to take a pic with someone he's supposedly kissing, all over ect. Don't get me wrong he looks horrible and drunk and no I don't personally think that's the image we've been given of them or how a father of 8 small kids should be acting, I'm still not buying the "he's kissing other girls" part that I saw on either this thread or the one titled Jon minus 9. I guess I'm looking for something more scandalous, like a picture that Jon doesn't know is being taken Not sure if that makes sense, but basically I just don't see him being dumb enough to pose for a pic, if he really is doing something wrong I truly hope for all involved there, especially the kiddos that he's not of course, but I just don't see how these pic's (I think I've only seen 3) prove that is.

See, I think he looks older in those pictures. Not Hollywood-ized. Honestly, I think Kate looks better now. She looks older than her years in some earlier pictures (with short dark hair). Jon definitely looks better recently (not a fan of the bowl cut, even then).
