I thought it was a sweet show. I was lol when Jon and Kate were interviewing and Kate had her feet up and no socks on lol.


A little off topic do they not have the Duggars on anymore?? I haven't seen a new show in forever?

I think he was a close friend of theres who helped them around the farm who passed away.

I cannot focus on anything other than Kate's hair anymore. UG! Somebody needs to help her. The spikes, the stripes, the way too long bangs - everywhere you look she's a mess.

I agree, I love the show but her hair I can't understand. DH and I were watching last night it was the show with the ski trip and then another when they went to St. Jude's Hospital. All we were talking about was Kate's Hairstyle. We were just thinking we were old fashioned, maybe Peacock Style is in!
We just don't get it, but she seems to love it which is all that counts.

I do think, of late, it's too long and too stripy in the front. she has to keep pushing it out of her face and it's a little distracting.

I could not wait to read this thread this morning! I loved the show. I am a cancer survivor of St Jude (1969-Wilm's Tumor) and I was not expected to live. Now, the survival rate is 90% or more. My daughter was a patient of St Jude this year when we thought we thought she had Ewing's Sarcoma. Thank GOD we think it is a bone infection but she was treated there from July to November. Let me tell you, that hospital was awesome when I was there and it had maybe 10 beds. Today, it is even more so. It is a happy place. It is a place that feels like home and the staff are wonderful. I can go on and on. I thought they did an awesome job of portraying the hospital. I also respect that they had to follow the rules about being with the patients. There are guard gates at every entrance and you cant just get in. Children are not allowed to visit until a certain age. No, they are not allowed to take stuffed animals as donations. The kids immune systems are low at times and they can cause infection. An infection that our kids fight easily could kill them. So, I am forever thankful for the show they did. And, yes, the kids would love anything anyone on TV gave them. When we were there, the Jonas Brothers came, and ICarly (?) and the kids who a lot of times watch a lot of tv due to being sick get excited to see anyone "famous". St Jude rocks, I cant say enough.

I noticed that too! I thought it was a little strange that he said only a few words the whole episode

I just got done watching it. I thought it was a really nice episode.

Honestly Kate's hair doesn't bother me, I wouldn't do it, but I don't like short hair on me.

I agree. I don't understand Kate's hair. I could go with it even the spikes...what bothers me most is the color. It is really dark in the back and light in the front with stripes.

I thought it was nice, too. Not at all what I was expecting... I had a couple of minor gripes, but overall it was a good episode. It did not scream "damage control" like I thought it would... and it was nice to see Miss Beverly.


I hope much money & awareness is raised for St. Jude's through this episode.
