What I'm saying (Jodi's sister's blog) has nothing to do with the Pennmommy site. Jodi gives a video message saying "it's all true", meaning her sister's blog is true. Basically, Jodi's sister's blog goes on to say how Kate treated Jodi.
Jodi was offered money from TLC for helping out - and Kate said NO WAY!

Just because someone says it's true doesn't mean it is. Did you believe everything PennMommy said was true, too?

You must be joking. If someone posed as Jodi's sister AND Jodi on the internet via video, blog and family pictures (which included Jodi's real huband and real kids), you don't think the real Jodi would have done something? I don't know, I guess anything is possible.

I still think "Jodi's sister" kidnapped Jodi and forced her to say those things. Actually, it's Kate. She's stirring up drama for publicity!! It's true! I said it on the internet, so it must be!!

Yes Jodi's sister did delete info about PennMommy. GWOP also deleted all post by PennMommy. Obviously it is because PennMommy wrote the blog and created aliases just to bash the Gosselins. It's pretty easy to check IP addresses. We have a bit of that going on in this thread too.

I for one, even after seeing that video am still not convienced that Julie is Jodi's sister. Or even that, that the person in the video was in fact Jodi. Yes it looked simular to Jodi. And why is the only photograph one that is a far (not close up) view of the entire family and hte only close up one of them in high school or whatever?

I do think that Aunt Jodi's sister's blog is written by Julie. I have always believed that to be true, and still do. If it isn't, someone had to go through a LOT of hoop jumping with photoshop and voice impressions to make the picture and video believable. And they had to find someone that looks enough like Jodi to pass for Aunt Jodi.

I've said it before and I'll say it again ... no one knows, really KNOWS, anything about what is going on with Jon & Kate Gosselin. I'd almost venture to say that Jon & Kate don't even know what's going on with themselves half the time anymore. This whole thing continues to be a train wreck ... and it's scary the amount of time and effort people like PennMommy put into scamming people. People suck.

I'm still curious why all these people, helpers and volunteers, checkout clerks in the grocery store or whatever don't speak out one way or the other. Why Jon & Kate don't rally people around to disprove the rumors?

Does Santa not come to their house? I remember it seeming odd last Christmas there was no discussion of Santa bringing the gifts. Only Mom, Dad and fans. She sure didn't refer to him contributing to Christmas morning in this spot! Kate, kate, kate, kate, kate! She does look cute.

Some people love the show, some people don't. That's how this thread has always operated.Or at least it has in recent months. Bashers, to ME, are people that are ruthlessly nasty and say over the top ridiculous things that aren't plausible or involve things like the children's well-being that NO one knows anything about. (like the kids having behavior or developmental issues) Those kinds of bashers are few and far between on this thread.

They probably don't feel the effects of the weird, demented internet freaks. I mean, it doesn't seem to be effecting the continuation of the empire. CPS isn't busting down the door. Maybe they feel the best way to deal with the rumor mill is to let it tire itself out (or fall apart like PennMommy).

Even if there was a novel dedicated to the sweetness of the Gosselin parents and adorableness of Mady, the naysayers would still refuse to believe it. Besides, on both sides, it's far more interesting to hear the juicy rumors. It gives the GWoPpo sheeple something the shove in the Kate lovers' faces and something for the Kate lovers to pick apart and throw back.

My guess is either they didn't know all that was going on or just took the high road and let it pass.

It was only in the last couple of weeks that I realized just how many sights are made just to bash them. You have a couple freaks with nothing but time on their hands and do nothing but rip them to shreds. Then you have the kool-aid drinkers that go along with them.

I wouldn't have known the PM got blown out of the water if it weren't for someone posting it here. I don't go looking for stuff written about them. I happen to like this thread and the tone to it so I read it and post very rarely. I always had a feeling the PM was total BS and didn't invest anything into it. I'm always amazed at how many people get wrapped up in things on the internet. I had time today read how people were crying over this and her made up son dying.

Speaking only for myself here ... I don't believe any of it. Not 100% of it, anyway. I'm sure that there are shreds of truth out there, on either side. There are things that I find more credible than others, or more revealing (that may not be the right word), but in the end, it's all spin and opinion. we've seen that here. 10 of us could see the same episode and all pick up on different nuances.

The longer this goes on, I think it's interesting to watch the older episodes and see them progress to where they are today. Those early episodes appear very different to me than the new ones.

But, seriously ... I don't think the people that regularly contribute to this thread, opposing JK8 are anything to the extent that those who post on GWoP or the other hate sites out there. The regular JK8 opposers on this thread usually offer a differing opinion but not with malicious intent. That's been echoed time and time again - and it's part of the reason the thread hasn't been shut down. It's a fairly good-natured discussion. I just don't see comments posted here as bashing.

I don't consider myself a basher, but I guess others do.

Now, there are the drive-by posters. No comment on them ...

we had a GREAT time and we loved Pop Century!! It completely surprised us that we did, it was our first time at a value resort... we didn't know what to expect. We've already booked a bounceback rate for next year, that's how much we enjoyed it!

That's great!! I've stayed at a Deluxe, Moderate and 3 different values and I love staying at Pop!!!

We LOVED Pop! I had such a feeling of giddy excitement the minute we stepped onto the resort. I'd love to go back and have that feeling again. And there's nothing like those breadsticks and veggie lasange!

Ok, back to the topic at hand...I feel so betrayed by PennMommy's blog. I didn't read it too much, but I did glance at the posts on Julie's blog, and GWoP. I actually spent time in prayer for her sick "son." It is terrifying that people spend that much time and energy being a hater.

However, I still believe Julie's blog to be true. She has more of an investment in the Gosselin's lives because of her sister. Do I agree that it was the right thing to do, going "public" about their lives? Not necessarily. But I have to admit that if my younger sister was put through the same stuff Jodi was put through, I may have been tempted to set the record straight.

It really is a fun place ~ I'm so glad we ended up staying there. I hate to admit it, but we border on being resort snobs ... not because we're snobby by nature, because we aren't. But we have lucked into some awesome rates over the years at the Swan/Dolphin, Poly, WL, and Contemporary. Those places are hard to beat. Especially the Swan/Dolphin, it holds so many awesome memories for my family. It was hard not staying there this trip!

It may seem a little less...sleazy (??? I don't know what word I'm looking for, but that's the closest I can think of now)...if she really just defended her sister and discussed topics regarding Jodi.

I think the values look fun!! However, we're spoiled. We plan to hit all the deluxes at least once first. When DS is older and we can go commando, we may try the values. I like all the room to spread out in the deluxes now.

Posting on this thread for the first time. I had no idea there is all this controversy surrounding Jon and Kate plus 8.

My DD8 (just a few days older than the twins) LOVES the show. I think she identifies with Maddy. So we have been watching a bunch of the episodes from the recent marathon off TiVo.

I admit that I believed Pennmommy and I felt really bad when I heard that her son died. Now I feel taken but hey that's what happens sometimes.

I do think some of the people on GWOP have waaaaay too much time on their hands and are overly critical. I haven't read there in a while but I like to read the gosselins sightings section.

Anyways,lesson learned. Don't believe everything you read. Anyone can be anybody at anytime on the internet.

That said, I'm growing increasingly bored with the family and the drama surrounding it. I think now that they are promoting their show and such it's just same old same old. They aren't a real family anymore.

I agree. I'm beginning to think they've beat the horse to death. LOL.

I'm so happy that the regular TV line-up is back, I've got lots of other choices of shows to watch.

In reality, my guess is that the show is just picking up steam... I think, now that they're doing this book tour, etc. that more people are going to see them, think they're cute and start tuning in. I could be wrong about that, though.

JMO, but I think all the negative knocks kind of come with the territory of being a celebrity. People always build up then tear down, for some reason.

If I could give them any advice (just from a regular person who likes their show ), I would tell them maybe not to accept every project offered and get too "overexposed", because it does seem that familiarity with stars does breed contempt with the public after a while.

Of course, I bet Kate could care less what anyone else but Jon thinks about anything she does, don't you?
