I don't understand why they have jackets that are too small? If space was a concern in the old house, I would've thought Kate would want outgrown clothes out ASAP.

I get my outgrown stuff to the consignment sale as soon as I can! I need the space for more things ..

Okay so I'm watching tonight's episode, and I've gotta say to me Jon's making Kate look good as far as parenting goes. He has the kids to himself this day and I have to say I kinda get why Kate asks him to be nice to the kids. Don't get me wrong having 6 4 year olds has got to be straining, but for as much crap as Kate gets for the way she is about everything; in my opinion this episode especially showed how much fairer and more in control Kate is with the kids as oppose to Jon. He seems to have no patients tonight and is kinda being mean to the 6 little ones. I'm usually a big J&K supporter, but this episode really made me feel that Kate's totally justified when she talks about him needing to be nicer to the kids.

I don't see that her parenting style has changed much since she was a SAHM, though.

Not interested in watching the kids walking around the woods with sticks tonight, but did read an interesting report by someone who went to Jon's speaking engagement at Penn State.

-They got two german shepherd puppies, brother and sister named Nala and ... I forgot.

-He and Cara snowboard on Tues. and Thurs.? Didn't get that.

-Kate has "a lot of spa days". Didn't get that either.

-They have a Vietnamese babysitter who won't be part of the show. She is there every day for at least part of the day. They went through 15 sitters, but she is working out very well.

-Jon's mom does live near them (I'd heard otherwise).

-They will be traveling to Korea.

-He and Kate are now producing the show.

-He is the stay at home parent, but he hasn't been at the new house enough to enjoy it. Huh?

-He had VIP seats at the Superbowl but went to a church fundraiser instead that was raising money for wells in Africa.

The person who saw him said he looked really good, was pretty funny, and the college kids really liked him. Interesting how they are doing separate appearances; good for the kids if one parent is in fact home with them. Enjoy the show if you watch tonight.

He was at Penn State. How long before the animal rights people are at their door? Kate with two German Shepard’s? Those dogs are sleeping outside, you know they are not in HER house. If you watch the interview posted above Jon talks about Kate’s Parents. I live in Pa. not far from where Jon and Kate use to live. I know people that lived near them. Kate’s parents do not talk to her because she was mad that the church did not give them what Kate thought they should have when the babies were born. I did not know this till last summer. We want to a BQ and one of my DH's Aunt's is a friend of Kate’s Mom's. I was talking about the show and his Aunt said "oh don’t talk about Jon and Kate" and told me that is where they all attend church. I was wondering why I was getting the eye from people. I was only stating how much we love watching the show. I came home and DD and I goggle Jon and Kate and found every thing I was told on the internet. We were shocked. Do I believe everything, yes for the most part. It all just makes sense. Kate’s mom stated she is greedy in an article here in Pa. Jon’s Mom does live close to where they live now. This is near the first house they lived in, which is Berks County. How do I know where she shops? Do you not watch the show? They show the labels every time they dress the kids. I don’t see Kmart brands. There is not a banana republic outlet here in Pa. I know what store they shop in on that episode. We hear all the time where they shop. I know the Giant Market that they use to get free food from. Yes, Kate’s a budgeter, she gets it for free. You never seen her pay with her Pa access card though did you? What is it, then? My uncle is a retail layout designer for Gap Inc., and I'm pretty sure that was a BR Outlet. It definitely wasn't a straight store (no pun intended).

Are you kidding? Do you really think all spokespeople patronize their employer? Does Martha Stewart wear KMart? Doubt it. Spokespeople are not hired because they shop at XXXX store or use XXXX product. They hire spokespeople because they will bring attention. You are proof that mission has been accomplished.

You'll have to be a little more clear here. I don't know if it's the odd syntax or what, but to which trip/procedures are you referring?

Kate only recently became a spokesperson for Kmart. Gap & Gymboree (as well as other companies/people) have been providing clothes for the Gosselin kids as long as the show's been on, I believe. Maybe not the first show, but not long after.

she isn't on public assistance of any kind now, why would we see her pay with a PA access card? Is that something to do with the kids or something?

it is widely speculated, if it's on the show, then it's covered by someone .. TLC, Figure8, sponsors, etc.

that's how it's edited. there's no way to know what the kids wear when the cameras aren't rolling. Kate's arrangement with Kmart may have nothing to do with JK8 (the TV show) .. with the exception of the St. Jude episode.

procedures were donated (tummy tuck and hair plugs). The trip to WDW was part of a JK8 episode, it was likely covered by Disney or the TV show.
