I feel for those kids. It cannot be good to have cameras in their faces daily. MAybe they're going to take a step back and not do as many shows or something. Or maybe Kate will stop the insessent touring , book signing, etc

I really, really hope the announcement is not that they are divorcing. I hope they are getting extensive marriage counseling so they can stay married and get things back on track with their family. Divorce is heartbreaking, and I hope they aren't choosing to go down that road.

They may have continued to wear them to cause less speculation. I have noticed on a recent episode that Kate was playing with hers quite a bit...she has odd tendancies like that though. On several episodes while sitting on the couch she played with her earing constantly.

I can only image how stressing this whole situation must be on her and him.

what I can't seem to put my finger on is what on earth they have to say about this whole situation that will take the length of time for an hour-long show.

I don't think they'll talk about their decision - whatever it might be - for the hour. I honestly don't think it's going to be anything big - maybe an announcement about a new direction for the show. An article I read (and posted on the other thread) this morning said they'd be doing more traveling this season. Maybe they're going to back places they went when the show started or more "family retreats"???

I know girls who wear rings on that finger who are happily single. Two co-workers of mine are in the middle of divorces and both contine to wear their rings. I don't wear my ring regularly (not wearing it today). I took it off last night when making dinner or dishes or something (I honestly don't recall) and forgot to put it back on. Doesn't mean I'm any less married. I hope they truly love each other and can work everything out if that's what they want and think is best for their family to be successful - whatever that means within their family.

My grands are a lot older, and they wouldn't drop a bit of ice cream. Besides, they'll be sitting down enjoying the kitchen sink.

Okay I'm watching TLC and the just showed a Jon&Kate commerical for Monday and there was no special mentioned on it. IT was the commerical where they get the playhouses

The only decision J&K should be making is quitting that show and fixing their family. They need to sell that huge house too. How can they maintain it if they are not working. I hope they don't continue the show because of that house. They could make "do" in a smaller home. Not only that, but their show could be canceled at anytime. They need to think about that.

My guess is that they are still planning on the showing the mother's day episode (or whatever it was) and have "extended" couch time to discuss what has been going on and the last 2 mins will be the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.

I think the announcement concerns Jon, that he'll be working outside the home or that he is choosing to remove himself from tapings.

I don't believe J & K would discuss the private matter of divorce with anyone but themselves!

I do know one thing, I'll be "glued" to the tele come Monday!

I think Jon getting a Job would be great. I think it would be hard for him to be completely removed from the tapings, that is IF he is living in the house. But he could not be involoved in the "special outings" etc.

I think that would be a good idea. He should never have agreed to stay home with the kids while Kate was out pushing the book (I assume at teh time it seemed like a good idea). He's made no secret of the fact that he doesn't like to be at home during the day.
