My good friend has PCOS and used fertility treatments to have her son. She is the skinniest person that I know and actually has trouble keeping weitht on. Is there a different version of the syndrome where weight goes the other way?

Yes there is.

As far as the show, I do love it and I like Kate as well. As far as people's opinions that live around them, they would know more than I would, so they can have their opinions. I don't think every single thing people state is based on jealousy.

Kate is controlling and seems to accept the handouts with no problem. I also remember watching the show with the tummy tuck that she asked for a b$$b job. Seemed wrong and no I'm not jealous.

As far as them doing the show, I don't think it is only so the people of their town can see them without having to peep in their windows. I actually starting laughing when Kate said that on Oprah. It was for monetary gain. Hey I'm not saying I blame them, but let's call a spade a spade!

I love watching Jon & Kate + 8! I have twin 3 yo DD's, and I can only imagine if I added sextuplets onto that I would be a crazy woman!

We are currently potty training our DD's, so I was cery interested to see on this week's episode how Kate handled public restrooms with newly-trained toddlers. Does anyone have any idea what travel potty ring Jon & Kate were using on this week's episode? It looked pretty compact, but must be pretty durable, considering all the use it gets! I would love to know where she got it, so I could get one myself.

I bought that same potty ring from One Step Ahead. She seems to like it, but I found that it didn't have a good "fit" for my 2 and 3 years old bottoms and caused leaks on the toilet. It is compact though.

I've enjoyed reading through this thread. I'm sure the OP didn't expect it to go from a request to help find a laundry sorter and garbage can to an all out opinionfest on raising large families - but that's the joy of the DIS

I just wanted to add that I love Jon and Kate plus 8 and the Dugger family totally creeps me out, too!
