I thought I'd check Ebay again today to see if could find a JoJo costume for my daughter. Well, I found them alright - the highest one so far is up to $280 - for a $35 costume. What the heck is wrong with people? Why in the world would you pay $300 for a costume for a child???? Is it that important? I wanted my daughter to be JoJo for Halloween b/c I thought she would look really cute in it. I decided she'll look just as cute in a costume from Target for $20.

What do you guys think? Is this insane or would you bid that high for a costume?

How is JoJo?????

I have nver paid more that $10 for a costume for DD. Most of them we have made together.

SC Minnie - JoJo is a character from JoJo's Circus - a kids show on the Disney Channel. She is a little girl clown that lives in Circus Town.

That is insane. I wouldn't spend that much or even half the price for a costume. Maybe your child will use it for two years, but that's if you are lucky and that to is still expensive.

Thanks-- Now I'm really sad.:( DD is really growing up and doesn't watch those younger kids shows anymore.

Don't they also sell the JoJo costume at the Disney Store? I thought I saw it in the catalog.

No, I would NEVER spend that much money on a costume for my DS or me!

::yes:: I will swear I saw it in the Disney catalog this last time!

Seems I guessed the wrong hot costume this year. Now what will I do with all these Red Power Ranger costumes? :scratchin :confused3

I think that is totally RIDICULOUS! I can't believe someone would pay $280 for a child's Halloween costume, I don't get it.

Miss Cleo, don't despair! ;) Your "great famous friends" can wear them Halloween night.;) ;) :teeth: :teeth:

You can get it from the Disney catalog (or website). DD is going as JoJo and DS is going as Goliath. But the biggest size for the JoJo costume is size 6 (but it is a big size 6, almost to big for DD). And I think at www.disneystore.com they are offering 25% off costumes.

Clicked on the title cause I thought it said "JoNo costume for sale".... :hyper:

That is insane. My DS wanted to be Goliath for Halloween and I didn't want to order it offline cuz it was a higher price than the stores plus shipping charges so I called all the stores with in 150 miles of me to find his size. (We tried one on when it first came to the stores) All were sold out, went to get him a BuzzLightyear costume instead and TDS had found one Goliath in the backroom and I was the first one in the store. It was marked XXS but it fit my son perfectly! He was wearing a size Small when we first tried it on. I think it was marked wrong or woemthing but I got it for $16.99 instead of $20 plus S&H.

I didn't buy it first cuz it was $25 nevermind almost $300!!
