Thanks, I've had my S3 for about two and a half years, and it (and this board) has taught me a lot. I am comfortable shooting on full manual in a variety of situations, and look forward to learning to maximize the capabilities of the new camera. Primarily I hope to do better indoors, we'll see how it goes

Oh man, and I was trying to be the only one with a Xsi! Looks like everybody has them now.

Enjoy it, the Xsi is a fine camera, capable of some great images!

I'm also a new member of the DSLR family. I just picked up a Nikon D5000 (with an extra VR 55-200 lens) last week.
Unfortunately my PC is on the fritz, so I can't take advantage of my new Corel program yet, but I have been shooting quite a few shots. So much to learn, yet so much fun doing it.
