Join the Drink Around the World Meet
On this Board we got to talking about drinking around the World Showcase. As the thread progressed we found that many of us were going to be there at the same time. So we decided to schedule a meet and we would like to invite everyone to join us. The thread that got the whole thing started is at:

The meet will be on May 12th and we are meeting in France at the fountain at 11am. If you would like to join us please post on that thread on send me a pm. We already have 10 to 12 that will be going.

Just thought I'd let you know that a succesful trip around the world will run you about 60 - 80 dollars (once around - one drink per country), for anyone who likes to budget their trip beforehand. It's expensive, but worth every penny.

I enjoyed reading the original thread. Sounds like Melissa and DR had a great time. The Norwegians, Canadians, and Italians are die-hard DATW'ers, so they love seeing others partaking as well.

The last time we went was in January and we were saddened to find out that they no longer serve shots in Germany... something about the liquor license. The 911 shot was my favorite drink. At least there is still the Tangier cocktail in Morocco.

I can't wait to read the trip reports from this meet!!

Well, I leave in less than 2 days! I don't know how much I will be able to visit the boards till then. Just 4 days to DATW! I have name tags for everyone that pm me with their names. I am bringing extra blank ones for those that didn't. Can't wait to see everyone there! Hope that I see some of you at Jellyrolls on the 10th too!

This sounds fab. Its a shame we won't be here until October. Never mind, I'm thinking about all the food and wine that I'm going to enjoy in Epcot.
