Tomorrow is the day we were supposed to arrive for a lovely week at WDW. Been planning this for 15 months. DS decided the PICU on a vent was much more fun. The kids always come first but the timing sucks. Karen

So sorry to hear about your DS. Hope he's better soon.

Your post just reminded me that it was 1 year ago today that DD was admitted to Children's Hospital...where she stayed for the next 9 weeks. The poor girl was there right thru Thanksgiving, Xmas, & New Years (and yes, later that spring, she was back in there over Easter ).

Two weeks after she was discharged in January, we got her to WDW for a vacation. She toured the parks in a wheelchair, but enjoyed almost every minute of it! (and after all of DD's health issues these past few years, we ALWAYS get the trip insurance).

Hope you are able to get your DS there soon after he is feeling better!

I'm so sorry! I can totally empathize as I had a seizure and sepsis, forgot the two days we were at disneyland, and missed the rest. hopefully you can try again.

Aw, man! I know you're all disappointed. These things happen, but it doens't make it any easier to bear. Hope your son is doing better and off the vent soon

I'm so sorry! We just had our 5 months since accident, 3 months since being home anniversary. Some days it seems like it was yesterday.

I know how you feel, earlier in November I was supposed to go on a Disney Cruise and 3 Nights WDW... my body 3 days before departure crashes and I'm dx with T1 diabetes... I'm already planing my next trip...D will not put me down!!

I hope your son gets well and you can plan your next magical vacation!
