That's the guy! What a hoot. He never pulled any punches, that's for sure. His show was called "Big Spender." One of his books was "You're Broke Because You Want To Be!" And he always wore those big old cowboy boots.

The other Canadian made money show you'd probably like is "Buy Me!". People try and sell their homes and the show follows the process between them and the real estate agent and some of them are complete....insert word I can't say....about the whole thing

I sort of was thinking French Canadian, but she comes off so nice

At first I thought she might be South African...but that just didn't quite fit to my ear. I'm sure her accent has been Canadianized over that many years.

I would looooove to see followups for the couples on til debt. I bet most of them are in debt again since they needed her help in the first place and couldn't figure things out for themselves!

As much as I like watching this show and the other Slice (the channel which has til debt in Canada) shows, if they were more realistic/sustainable I think it would be better TV. For example, who can live on $13/month for clothing and gifts for 3 years? Very few.
