I didn't know Hughes also directed Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

We're losing all our icons

We are all getting old . The celebrities so many of us knew and were influenced by as we grew up are now the celebrities we see passing away.

We're not though... that's what makes it so much worse. Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, John Hughes... all way too young.

I can't think of the 80's and my teens without thinking of his movies. They are among my favorites of all time. RIP, John Hughes.
