Saw the other day that John Favreau has signed on to direct a movie called "Magic Kingdom". A family gets locked in the Magic Kingdom and everything comes to live kinda like Night at the Museum. Any thoughts?

Sounds like it could be a good movie....

Sounds like Kingdom Keepers

:confused3 I have heard The Kingdom Keepers books referenced before but never really knew what they were about. So, I did a Bing search and they sound VERY interesting! :thumbsup2 Maybe something my ten year old would be interested in (and me! :rotfl: ). How come Disney doesn't advertise these better? :guilty:

My 10 year old has read all three books in the Kingdom Keeper series, and she loved them! I heard about the first one a few years ago from my sister in law and couldn't wait until she was old enough to read it. She's into Percy Jackson, HP, etc., so she likes the mystery/adventure stuff. If your 10 year old likes books of that nature, he will probably like the Kingdom Keepers, too!

I got the kingdom keepers for myself and they are really good. I'm saving them now for when DS is older

Author Ridley Pearson has been trying to pitch Kingdom Keepers as a movie for a few years, but it seems like Disney hasn't been interested in it.

Although from what little has been mentioned of the plot sounds similar, I don't think it is Kingdom Keepers.

I'm 39 and love all the Kingdom Keeper's books! My dad has read them also and he's in his 70's! Disney doesn't really advertise them, but they do sell the books there. When the 3rd book came out recently, the author was at WDW signing books. I wish I could be in that new movie LOL

With the Harry Potter movies coming to an end, this might be the perfect time for a new phenomenon.
