Hi everyone! I always read the dining reviews, but figured I would try one myself. We just got back from an 8 day trip to the Pop Century. I am a super picky eater (no meat, spices, etc), and my husband will eat just about anything but seafood.....This was our 14th trip (in 14 years) to Disney....Here is a breakdown of what we ate (and what we liked and didnt like).....
Sat April 30th- Lunch at Pop food court- I got chicken alfredo, and worms and dirt. I gave the chicken to my husband since it was so tough and rubbery, didn't like it at all. Alfredo sauce was delicious! Worms and dirt was equally delicious! DH got double cheeseburger and fries, which he had been looking forward to. He said it wasn't the same one as last year
...He didnt get another one the whole trip, which is totally unlike him! He got a Mickey bar for dessert and loved it!
Dinner- 1900 Park Fare- We loved this! I basically ate off of the kids buffet, but my husband tried everything. It was a nice meal. I asked for plain watermelon and they brought me a huge bowl. You have to ask for ice cream for dessert and they brought out a huge banana split..... Good meal!
Sunday May 1- We had breakfast in the food court. I think I had a bagel and banana nut bread and my husband had a breakfast sandwich with home fries. Both were good but the food court was nuts! so many people!!
Lunch- Columbia Harbor House- I got chicken tender and fries (delicious!)..DH got tuna sandwich which he loved. We both got the chocolate cake. I actually got a baked potato form the outside stand to go with my chicken (not much of a fries person) and used a snack credit for it. It was really good...
Dinner- Chef Mickeys- We have gone in the past and like the atmosphere, the food is usually average....It was EXCELLENT! They had the most delicious turkey pot pie! Everything was fresh and clean. They seemed to have listened when people have been complaining about the so so food! The little mickey truffles at the end were so good!
Will write more later!
