Does anyone have a Jogging map for universal??? We will be staying at portofino Bay Hotel and i know i read on their site that they have a jogging trail... Also i'm guessing you can jog from the hotel over to the parks and around city walk.... Anyone who has done this or knows more about the area i'd love to hear it... the longer the path the better... Also any tips... If i am out jogging early will they let me into the citywalk/Parks area without having to stop and get checked by security?

I see people jogging around the resort all the time so I don't think you'd have any issues with security...not sure about CityWalk...you probably couldn't jog there since there are so many people to dodge.

Here at HRH now, and I don't know what the "rule" is, but I have seen people jogging the walking paths, but there is a sign at the end of the HRH trail entering City Walk that clearly states "no jogging beyond this point", so I guess there is no jogging at City Walk. You'd have to dodge a lot of peeps to get a good run in :)

I was at the Hard Rock last week and they
will tell you no jogging as you enter City Walk.
Some mornings I was out early enough that no
one was there to stop me. This was about 7am.

Thats probably about when i'd be going out also. Are there many people out and about at that hour?

Just returned from a Universal trip and ran from RPR to PBR and back at 730am, lots of runners even through city walk, no problem at all!. Nice running through City walk at that time as the music is blaring. We had a moderate to slow pace of 35 min return. It was a nice run. I think those signs are for when City Walk gets a bit busier closer to 9am.

I noticed in the HRH fitness center yesterday that there is a jogging trail info card on the counter when you walk in. didn't read it that well, but I noticed it said there is a 3.6 mile loop :)

And that info is also in the pamphlet that they give you with the rest of the hotel stuff when you check in.

You may also try the trail on the Royal Pacific side, seems like it is never crowded, (especially early) worse comes to worse you may be able to use that, long jog though from the Portifino.

Just use the walking path from the hotel. I was at the Portofino 2 weeks ago and ran the walking path at 7am in the morning. Just a couple of runners and the landscape workers were out. I jogged through Citywalk and even ran by a security guard on a mountain bike and nothing was said. The 3.6 mile loop circles round Universal and includes a lot of traffic, stick with the walking path it is great run. The map at the front desk stated that the path was 1.2 miles long to Citywalk but it seemed shorter than that.
