I read this on the official site last night and think if it's true would be quite a shock to Evan.

People are buzzing saying that Zora is so reserved and secretive because she's actually someone whose extremely wealthy on the show looking for someone to love HER for who she is and the joke will be on Evan. She had to keep him interested and intrigued to last this long.

What do you all think about that?

I think it would be a hoot!!! I personally like Zora and hope that Evan picks her. Actually if Zora is truly wealthy it would go along with the show, what a riot!!!!! I think next week's show will be very interesting!!

i've been pulling for her since the beginning...now if this rumor is true...i wouldn't feel so bad in hoping that she "wins"! i can't decide if i really want him to pick her because i don't want to see her hurt...but i don't think that i would mind if he chose sarah...she keeps making references to the fact that things can be "changed" over time...and i think that it would serve her right to find out that he has nothing...that is, if he really doesn't have anything...

CurlyQ - um, either she does know he's not wealthy or she really does believe he's a millionaire and wants to find someone of her financial status to be with? I'm not entirely clear on that or it's even true or not.

The thing is, Zora says she's a 29-year-old single substitute teacher from Lambertville, NJ. Lambertville is not a place one can reasonably live on $100 a day (if that) substitute teacher wages. Something else must be going on there.

Add me to the list of Zora fans. I've liked her from the start. I think Sarah is into the money and will be disappointed and/or shocked to learn Evan is not who she thinks he is. I like the twist this rumor puts on the show. I've always said that there's more here than meets the eye and we're going to get a surprise at the end, too.

I read an interview recently that said for the past several years she had been a paid companion to an elderly woman. The woman's family was just crazy about Zora and had only good things to say about her. The woman recently passed away so now Zora is back to substitute teaching. Maybe the woman was very wealthy and left a ton of money to Zora. It certainly is possible.

Yes, that makes sense. Remember when Zorah and Evan went horseback riding.. and the horse sort of spit out its apple/carrot on Zorah's hand? Zorah said something like " Working with the elderly, made me get used to being spit up on ..." or something like that.

I have to agree with Dana, Lambertville is a swanky area... and well, there may be more than meets the eye with Zorah.

Last week the local Trenton, NJ newspaper, "The Trentonian", had an artcle about the show. It claimed that Evan picked Zora, (whose real name is Zorba), and that they are married. I don't know where they got the information but it is a reputable newspaper.
