Jodi Arias Trial Part 8 EXTREME CRUELTY: PROVEN

Penalty phase...what will the jury decide? (1 day poll!)

  • Death

  • Life (judge will sentence within 60 days, LWOP or Parole in 25 years)

  • No unanimous decision...new penalty phase jury will be empaneled.

Results are only viewable after voting.
This current perspective juror (B55 I think) sounds too disinterested to be a juror, not too bright.

She sounds way to young, and I don't know how much she would grasp to understand allot of it. It is not imperative to attend family vacations. Wait till she gets older.

She is the one where her husband was shot by her boss on the steps of the school where there son went.

Jury is out for Seacat, so waiting for verdict.

Dang Wild for trial.

This juror sounds really young.

This Levi Chavez is looking interesting. Dang I need so many computers...:rotfl2:

:rotfl:

Here's another good one:

(CBS/AP) HOUSTON - Officials say Ana Lilia Trujillo, a 44-year-old Houston woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death with a stiletto high heel, told police she was trying to protect herself.

Officials with the Harris County District Attorney's Office tell the Houston Chronicle that Trujillo told investigators the man was attacking her and she acted in self-defense.

Yeah, I didn't realize she was that young, yikes. When O'Mara asked her if she was going to summer school and she said yes, then she just finished finals and he again asked what about summer school, umm, no in that tiny little voice, I thought: Pay attention! :headache:

Oh stop , I guess Zimmerman is on break? Back to Levi.

How do you kill with a high heel?

Oh, I think it can be done:

She has no internet?

It sounded like she likes a simple life. ;)

I gave up on the rest of jury selection. I've managed to transfer Disney rewards and notify the credit card company I'll be spending more money in Disney. :woohoo:

I lied, back on the jury selection, sounds like this woman wants to be on this jury. Have they already determined this jury's going to be sequestered?

Dh and I are back from Vegas! Our pockets are lighter but we had so much fun! I just love Vegas, it's such an adult playground. :):)

Welcome back, y'all! :goodvibes

I think that petition is a joke, I mean an intentional joke. :rotfl:

============================================
I was just reading on the State V Arias FB, someone said they saw a commercial last night on Lifetime for the Dirty Little Secret movie, a scene of Jodi stabbing Travis in the shower.

And I'm not sure I'll be watching Zimmerman although I'm really interested in the judge. Here's an interesting update on Zimmerman: DNA Report does NOT support Zimmerman's claim that Trayvon Martin caused his injuries

====================================

Okay, I'm down to just a few days before we leave for Disney, I've got to get stuff done! :woohoo:

I'm liking the judge in the Zimmerman case. She's no nonsense. I think this trial will move along, she's not going to put up with any BS.

I don't know if you remember, but back when we posted on another board, I mentioned the autopsy report, and lack of DNA evidence. Zimmerman was bald at the time, so how the heck to hold a bald head and slam it into the pavement/ground and not get any of Zimmerman's DNA under Martin's fingernails. Also, Zimmerman was supposedly bleeding a lot from his face, yet no blood splatter on Martins sleeves. It just doesn't add up. Now you may remember, there were certain people that thought this wasn't evidence of anything.

For me, Zimmerman's story falls apart from the lack of evidence to support it. I doubt his nose was broken, why refuse to get an x-ray? Also, IF his head was smashed as he said it was, his injuries would have been severe. I don't think those scratches on the back of his head mean anything. Why no bruising on Martin's hands from the beating he supposedly gave to Zimmerman? It just doesn't add up to me.

I don't believe Martin was an angel, heck none us are, but on that night Martin wasn't doing anything illegal. He had the right to walk home and not be stalked and attacked. Zimmerman exercised very poor judgment, and was carrying a gun and thus this escalated into a homicide.

LOL, welcome back from Vegas, I trust you both had a fabulous time!! :teeth:

And YES, I DO remember those posts, very well, back in my stiletto wearing days!! ;) :lmao:

We're going to Disney in a few days and when I get back I'm gonna make a trial watching calendar, it's just too hot to do anything else here in Texas.

And I'm fairly sure you remember my posts about Zimmerman, the wannabe cop who thinks everyone should stop and answer his questions because he's the watch captain (self appointed).

If you want people to leave you alone, you don't keep giving interviews.

Now, Zervakos is stepping forward to publicly acknowledge for the first time that he was one of the four jurors who voted against the death penalty.

That was quite the exclusive. ;)

Zervakos said he thought there were three mitigating factors: Arias' age and lack of criminal history, her "dysfunctional family" and he says he believes Travis Alexendar verbally and mentally abused Arias..

To ME, the abuse is the only one I would have even considered as a mitigating factor, if I truly believed it.

You don't put someone to death for being stupid. You don't put someone to death for lying.

No kidding, you do it because they slaughtered the man.

We had a wonderful time. Funny story - DH and I went to breakfast at Serendipity 3 (At Caesars where we were staying). Anyway, it was busy, so we decided to eat at the bar. The bartender was wonderful. So we get these really big cups of coffee and order breakfast. It's about 11 am. All of a sudden the bartender keeps putting small glasses of frozen cocktails in front of me. People were ordering frozen drinks, and when there was extra in the blender, I ended up with a glass. Next thing I know, it 11.45 I'm buzzed and having brain freezes, drinking coffee in between. I never left breakfast snockered before, but there's a first time for everything.:lmao:

You must be really excited about Disney! Hope you all have a wonderful time!

The days of the stilettos! I remember them well! I remember the wanna be cop and I still believe it to be true of Zim.

It gets hot here, so having the trial on in the background is sometimes a good distraction. However summer rolling in means more and more thunderstorms, so I hope I don't lose connections during key testimony.

Regardless of the verdict, I do hope calmer heads prevail and people remain peaceful.

So you got a little Disney pixie dust while in Vegas, you lucky girl!! pixiedust:

Oh yeah, I imagine the public outcry/media during this trial is going to be different from the Arias trial and I'm with you on it, let calmer heads prevail and folks stay peaceful.

I think that particular juror saw the abuse in the texts and sex tape and not in Jodi's testimony, but what the hell is the Arias' family dysfunction?
