I shouldnt look through other blogs b/c I dont want to think how the other side thinks. But for me personally I ask why would chris hughes open up a legacy fund while the Alexanders have a memorial fund already started that goes straight to Tanisha and Stephanie. This does make me question his motives.

Oh and how is baby Piglet?

Yeah, Uncle Remus this so too. I'm kind of hurt if Chris Hughes is trying to make a profit off this. I mean, who am I, I know, but I feel sick.

Just to be sure...Chris Hughes is the one with his wife, that were always in the courtroom right?

Trying to keep up here.

Juror 6 also answered some questions on twitter.

Q- What was the split in life and death?
A- There was no gender trend.

Q- What did they think about the gas cans?
A- The gas cans were key.

Q-Did she notice how much JA was not paying attention...doodling, writing, etc?
A-They noticed it and it seemed disingenuous.

Q-How does she think JM did?
A-She was impressed.

Q-How did she vote in penalty phase and why
A-Death, felt aggravators outweighed mitigators.

Yes, he and his wife have been in the courtroom for the past month. I started following him on twitter towards the end of the penalty phase and he stated they had been there for the past month.

There is an interview on Good Morning America this AM with three jurors. I'm sure it can be caught online if you miss it. All three voted DP and said there was no way her story was true. One woman was a nurse which I found interesting. I'm sure she has had her share of anise come through the door.

I thought it was a little odd too but knew that he has always been under intense media scrutiny so I assumed that was the reason for his statement.

In thinking back now, I do recall off and on hearing in the news about a west coast sheriff known to be the most strict sheriff in the US with the pink garments. Until today just realized this is the same sheriff/ jail system JA is attending I guess since the jury rendered a different verdict than I was hoping for I can take solace, at least, that she will be under some of the strongest prison guidelines in the country. I would prefer her in her cell 23 hrs a day with no audience rather than turning boulders into pebbles. JA alone with her own thoughts and no one to share them with, with no hope of parole works ok for me
Hopefully JM and Judge Sherry have shared a glance, and possibly a wink, that JM silently understands to mean something along the lines of "lets save the taxpayers some money, let's not retry the penalty phase, send her to me and I will assure its LWOP"
Newspaper headlines 2015 will be "Prison guard found guilty trading sex for cell phone with JA"

The Alexander family still wants the death penalty. So unless the DA says no new trial, I bet Juan Martinez will push for what the family wants.

Unfortunately, this probably isn't too far from the truth. I think JA is such a scheming person that she will always find a way to get what she wants, regardless of the situation she's in. :sad2:

Part of an interview with juror 6. She voted for Death.

Thanks for posting those.

Interesting the nurse said they couldn't come to a consensus and give Jodi the death penalty because they followed the law. I wish the reporter had asked her what she meant by that.

Exactly what I was saying many pages back...would not surprise me at all if she tried to manipulate the guards into doing her bidding by any means available. Svengali!!!!

Here is what the foremans daughter had to say.. thought you would be interested. I know he's being backlashed and I agree.

I absolutely agree with the son of the jury foreman.

The Alexander family got the best verdict they could get - a first degree murder guilty verdict. Whether the Jodi Arias gets death or Life in Prison, her life is essentially over. And it should be. But this blood lust of the public simply dumbfounds me.

Doesn't people sending this elderly man who sat on the jury death threats alarm you? No one knows how he even voted, if he was one of the 8 who voted for death or one of the 4 who voted for a Life sentence.

Personally, I think the Alexander family should just accept the verdict, ask the defense team to agree to LWOP no parole and move on. And they should ask the public to accept the verdict as they do without blaming those who sat on the jury, and certainly stopping death threats against this poor man.

I guess the tough thing for me to understand in reference to the juror hold outs for the DP is that there was a body, it is understood how Travis died and the cruelty that went along with it as well as a confession from someone they all appear to agree is a liar and not believable in reference to the domestic violence claim and self defense claim.. So what change to the facts would it have taken for them to vote DP? That she is not a serial killer? Well clearly the state of Arizona was well within the legal rights to charge her with a capital crime. The state can't just charge anything without merit, plus a grand jury agreed with the charges based on the same evidence.

I would think it would be tough on a jury if there is no body or confession etc but this seemed to have been a really obvious case especially when she rambled on and on for 18 days and it was obvious that the DT was throwing any and all claims out there to see if any would stick.

The death threats and backlash against the jury foreman (and any other juror) are appalling and ridiculous ... However, technically, it was his own choice and decision to speak to the media and now he is unfortunately suffering the consequences of doing so ... Don't get me wrong, I am in no way condoning what is happening to him, it is terrible, but didn't he realize that this could possibly happen, especially in this day and age of social media, etc.? ... Personally, if I were a juror, I would stay as far away from the media as I could and not consent to any interviews whatsoever ... The Judge sealed the jurors' name & addresses on Thursday and made it their own personal choice whether to speak to the media or not ... There is no doubt in my mind that I would have kept mine sealed for sure ...

I personally think the State should take the DP off the table at this point and just let the judge decide on the sentence of LWOP or LWP ... (and I do believe she would choose LWOP) ... Otherwise, this trial, a.k.a circus, will not end anytime soon and the mob and clown mentality will continue ... But it's just my humble opinion ...

Oh, and let's not forget that TA's family is planning to file a wrongful death lawsuit also ... So there's another trial yet to take place down the road ... Not to mention all the appeals to be filed ...

JM is not going to take the DP off the table unless he is pressured by the DA to do so. So let's assume that he moves forward with a new trial that most of the talking heads agree will be about 2 weeks with fresh jurors. I am thinking that a DP verdict will happen as long as they find 12 people to serve, because in 2 weeks they won't "bond" with JA and they won't become as numb to some of the more shocking details of the case as the original jurors did. That's what I am thinking and hoping for..

Good points, and maybe Juan will play the interview where she said that no one has to fear her being out on the street unless they threaten or abuse her...
