Just thinking.....The verdict will come today within the next two hours and it will be Death - what do you guys think?

I'm thinking the decision will definitely be made by the end of the day today and it will be Life or a hung jury ... I just don't think they are going to unanimously agree on the DP ... But I've been wrong before ...

My money is on life. I would be shocked after all of this of they came back with death. I hope I'm wrong because JA will have gotten her way. I really feel bad for the Alexander family.

I am trying to accept that the outcome may not be what I feel is just. I am afraid to have the same feelings I had with CA trial. Makes me doubt our system, our society. I am praying for peace for Travis's family is the biggest thing.

I am afraid of how damn smug that cray cray CMJA will be if she gets what she thinks is her way.

It makes me sad that she could get life, because she will have felt like she won. At the same time, if she gets life, we can all drop her from our lives and stop paying attention to any interview she does and slowly she'll slink away into prison life with little thought from anybody else. With that, the Alexander family, while not getting what they want, will have the relief of never having to attend an appeal (unless she gets possibility of parole and really, with this judge, I do worry about that). It's out of our hands but the jury has done the correct thing so far, I will hold onto my faith in the system...at least it's turned out better than CA so far.

I wondered who I could ever despise as much as Casey Anthony, and less than 2 years after she was acquitted, I found her in Jodi Arias. I don't even feel as much anger towards CA anymore, and it's because she went away and was replaced by this monster.

With this case, it's not JUST about Jodi murdering Travis...how she pre-planned and carried it out a slaughter...but about how she butchered his reputation during the trial, continues to shove it down his families throats, and will continue to mouth off. She is bound and determined to punish them for not "settling" the case, not accepting her 2nd degree plea offer. So she was off and running. And SHE WON'T STOP. That's what I have such a hard time dealing with.

Hi guys. I have been away the last few days. Moore, OK is my hometown. We lost our home and my parents have major damage. Thank you for the prayers. They are needed big time. It is like a war zone out here. Very scary and devastating. I hope you are doing well and will hopefully be able to catch up on everything when things start to settle.

I'm thinking Willie really did a number on some of these jurors when she asked them if THEY were going to KILL JA during her closing argument thus making them feel like the executioners ... And now that's all they are thinking about and feeling guilty over so they won't vote or even consider the DP at all now ... I wonder if JM could have objected to Willie saying that? ...

She might win an appeal. I've heard of cases where convictions are overturned on the minutest of technicalities. There was a guy in MA who murdered a young girl and had his conviction overturned more than once...still found guilty in the end. You know the mitigation specialist in the CA trial left her H and kids for a murderer on death row? IIRC, he was convicted in separate trials of separate murders, given death, overturned on appeal, new trials, convicted again, given death, and I'm not sure where it ended. It happens. I hope not, but it does.

I know. Someone on HLN said that's a common approach from a defense attorney. And IIRC, she said it in their rebuttal, which meant that JM couldn't come back and try to undo what she said, unless he addressed that (that they would NOT be executioners) beforehand? I hope the people who are voting FOR will address that with the other jurors.

ITA ... Hopefully, when JA finally gets checked into the state prison, she will have NO access to TA's family whatsoever ... But sadly, she will probably manage to always be a thorn in their side in some way or another ... I wonder if TA's family could get some kind of restraining order or gag order against her? ...
