I hope she gets the DP but if she gets life or LWOP I truly think at some point in the future we will be reading about her having a relationship with one of her prison guards (male or female)....or the guards giving her special treatment somehow. I truly believe she has some spell casting abilities..almost Svengali like the way she can manipulate some people.

Definition of Svengali:

A person who exercises a controlling or mesmeric influence on another, esp. for a sinister purpose

This is so much like my sister. DH and I would marvel how my sister could sucker people into taking her side and sympathizing with her. It was almost fascinating, if it wasn't so infuriating.

I think it's time to brace myself for a Life sentence. I'd be FINE with her not getting the death penalty IF it was LWOP, and IF she was prevented from continuing to torture the Alexander family.

But I'm trying to be positive, and like Joey Jackson said, they COULD just be clarifying everything so they're educated.

Ah...it was NOT a jury question. The judge was just clarifying the instructions. Whew.

Still bracing myself for anything.

Oh my. I am at my last thread of my rope with this case.

Don't give up yet. The way I understand it is the judge realized she left it out. The jury was not asking a question about it. The judge wanted to make sure she clarified for appellate purposes.

I'll watch an interview or two, or all, but I won't talk about them anymore here, since there are so many not interested in knowing about them. I watched this trial from the beginning, and it's an ongoing story which I hope ends today with the death penalty. I wanted to hear what she said if only to confirm what I already know about her. Oh well.

I feel totally conflicted about it! It's like driving by a train wreck.

Don't be frustrated! I think it's because it could be life with the possibility of parole...even if it's not gauranteed. If I were on the jury and not really comfortable with the death penalty, but had any inkling (sp/word?) that she may someday get off if granted life, I'd go with death. The part of about life that bothers me is that she'll still have a pretty decent life. She adapts well to her situation so she won't be bothered. And somebody else said that she has a way about her and will be able to get perks by feeding the guards some Jodi Juice or some other such nonsense. She will have friends, she will be able to take classes and will continue thinking that she's giving back to society by all that she does..she'll have many hours outside of her cell and will be twittering away and who knows what else. Lock up the crazy girl and let her live a solitary life until she can be put to death.

Please don't stop talking on here about it! I was greatly buoyed by finding this thread and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every discussion.

I also always feel she is her own worst enemy and it proves everytime she opens her slimy lying face how sick she is. I just hate knowing she loves it. She is the true definition of narcissism.

Me too. I was convinced that they would give her DP.... now I am not so certain. I guess I would accept LWOP (cause I don't have any choice if that is the decision) BUT I do NOT want that monster back on the streets EVER. And I really don't want her able to contact folks (tweeting whatever) from the inside.

yes, that is what bothers me as well. She gets life, she will still be able to read, study "live" and live fairly well AND influence others.
I have no trouble giving her death.

I am totally racked with nerves! I am sickened by how happy SHE will be if she gets life. UGH!

I am going to take the dogs for a walk before the storm looming on our horizen hits. Hope it brings some good karma. SO far every time I miss a big announcement it turns out good.
