I think it depends on the state, but more often than not they are isolated from general population.

Hi guys, good morning, did anyone see Dr Drew last night, they were discussing the ME's trstimony and Mark Eiglarsh (sp?) said when the ME said "probably" that could leave room for reasonable doubt, then another lawyer chimed in saying the word probable is common for the medical community to use its not black and white like attorneys would like. That made me worry, I think there is so much compelling evidence. Did you guys think the same as Mark? I thought the ME was pretty clear...

I thought that during the testimony, but then he went on to make himself pretty plain - at least I thought so. When you take everything into account, I can't imagine anybody not seeing it.

Just for the sake of argument, let's say he did chase her (leaving no blood evidence where he was supposedly shot ). It sure didn't take all those knife wounds PLUS slitting his throat.

I don't think she can get out of this. She deserves the DP but should get at the very least LWOP. If this jury pulls a CA, I'll be shocked (but, of course, I was shocked then too... ).

And she definitely looked sick during his testimony.

I think she has just spent her life doing and saying what she pleased and getting away with (for lack of a better word) murder. I'm hoping she will soon find out that she can't get away with it literally.

I know somebody who is so much like this that it is scary. He has imagined childhood issues that everybody who knows him knows did not happen, but he moves from group to group finding new people who feel so sorry for him. He is incredibly good at morphing into whatever the group he is with is like. He lies with no remorse and is as blatent about it as she is. I think the fact that they are so bald-faced about it is what makes people believe them for so long. It's hard for normal people to believe the extremes to which they're willing to go.

My husband was reading the ME's report this morning and he sent me a text and said by reading the report, this girl needs to get found guilty of murder1.
I wouldn't read and I will take his word for it.

So I truly hope that the jurors will read thru the entire report while deliberating.

Willie was trying to double talk with him yesterday to confuse the jurors and make them think he was not competent.

I didn't get to watch anything but the NFL draft last night

Travis seemed to have always picked really lovely girls all along.
How the hell did he pick that piece of garbage??? She must have really put on an act in the beginning that he didn't see thru for a while.

There are some women who are just adept at this sort of thing. I remember seeing one of the PPL guys on one of the HLN shows who talked about meeting her and how she somehow managed to make you feel like the most important person in the world (remember the guy who spent two hours with her in a car and wanted to leave his wife and kids).

I can't give much information, but I know a woman who is similar to this (but not to the crazy extreme like Jodi) who started to work at somewhere I know last fall.

You would not believe the fallout that has taken place since. One man's wife has accused him of having an affair with her, and another man has taken a major hit on his standing in the community due to choices he has made to advance her career (she has some pretty staggering baggage that came with her).

She has created havoc and caused several people to quit their jobs rather than work in the current environment. She has manipulated it so some others have lost their jobs (people who stood in her way).

If I hadn't seen this with my own eyes, I might be somewhat skeptical, but I have seen all of it, and it is astonishing. There are women (and men too, of course) who are just incredibly adept at manipulation.

*She* picked him. He had no choice. She set her sights and was a chameleon, changing herself to whatever she needed to be.

Well save your anxiety for DLR. I'm still working on a plan to go. I didn't get a license for my October hunt, so the chances of H and I going to DLR look even better now. I've dwindled down the dates. If we go, we're still going in October. If we can swing it financially, we'll go the full time from the 5th - 13th. If not, we'll go sometime in between those dates. The hotel costs is looking a little steep at the moment because that second weekend is Columbus Day weekend. Here's hoping.

I think this trial has dragged on for so long, so much of it in the defense case, and the prosecution case felt long forgotten, that coming back to the prosecution's case these last few days, fine tuning the facts, as well as the judge mapping out THE END, was a reality check for poor ol' Jodes. (Sorry...run on sentence!)
