Yup.
This poor family. I guess Tanisha was at her wit's end and just let it happen. I am still praying for them. Tanisha made a mistake. They are all physically and emotionally spent.

It was done in the moment of deep anger. I have not seen it, and I wont look. But I can understand. But she does need to refrain. She don't want to hurt anything in this trial. They are almost done. Justice is coming.

I'm going to sound very insensitive, but IMO and to be honest, I really don't have any sympathy for JA's family ... I think they are purposely playing the "grandma card" now and that makes me ... and I can't stand the way they all wear the blue ribbons meant to honor and support TA ... I feel they are just mocking the Alexander family by wearing them ... Because how can they show support for the man who allegedly abused their daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, etc., and who was said to be a "pedophile" and "perpetrator of domestic violence" , while showing support for JA at the same time ... I just don't get it ... It just seems phony and hypocritical to me and just a ploy for the jury to see

I wish I could know the grandmothers thoughts. For all we know she may not want to be there. Hard to know. If she did not want to be there and was pressured to do so, then I could have some compassion for her. She has never been there before. So I am convinced it ism the DT ploy to play for sympathy.

I forgot what I came to post for. But I was glad to hear Gloria Alred sp? that Jodi is victimizing the family, and that it can be stopped. She sounded angry about it. I wonder if she will make a case for it?

I wish somebody could do something because Jodi is definitely, maliciously, victimizing the family.

Good morning all!

Question for you "legal eagles" here. If Det. Flores was allowed to go back to the scene of the crime in March of this year to take pictures of the closet, why couldn't he make a video of someone trying to reach up to the top shelf? He could get someone who is within an inch or two and five pounds of Jodi and have them stand on the bottom shelf and reach up to the top. Wouldn't that prove without a doubt how unsturdy those shelves are?!

So glad there is an end in sight to this trial. The Alexander family needs this to be over and try to put their lives back together.

Gotta comment that Jodi's Grandma looked heartbroken. Like she knows she's guilty as hell, but can't believe her own flesh and blood did it.

They have a few people try standing on those shelves and the results indicated if you place your feet on either side of shelves directly above the supporting pins it will hold the weight. The two people I read has accomplished this task was a lady approx 160 lbs and a man weighing over 200 lbs. boards would break if someone stood in center of board. No way JM could ever prove where JA placed her foot....although most of us know she never placed a foot on any shelf

Hey UR, with the case coming to a close soon(ish), here's a question you and I especially are surely dying to know...WHAT will become of Perky Katie??? I see a job with Dr Drew/HLN in her future. Perhaps they will fly her all over the world to watch trials, keeping us on the edge of our seats waiting for her insightful observations. Oh, the fabulosity of it all! LOL

Just one more thing while I'm here. I won't miss some of these commentators on HLN about this case...the pro-defense ones. I can't even rattle off their names because sometimes I just have to change the channel, they annoy me so much, and I don't catch who they are. (And besides, unless they're as cute as Joey Jackson, who cares about their names? ) OK, I do remember Dwayne Cates, I think it is. ANNOYING. They could have a written pre-meditated plan and video of the crime, and they'd still get all pissy because Travis called her a 3 hole wonder. (Um...what's that saying about a shoe fitting? And about that...I think Jodi LOVED being called that...it's what set her apart from all the other girls in his life.)

There was an anti-Travis woman judge on After Dark last night who commented that Travis was a 32 yr old man (actually, he was 30 when he died) going after an 18 yr old girl (Lisa?) (she's 25 now, so when he died, she was 20...10 year difference)...implying that it meant he was a sick older man going after a CHILD. Then she said that he was having sex with Jodi on June 4 when he was planning to go off and have sex with Mimi Hall in Mexico. How dare she! What an insult to Mimi Hall. So many people have been victimized by Jodi's actions...what she did to Travis, and how she's spinning lies about him...and all these other lawyers/commentators are perpetuating lies as well. I wish these commentators would get their facts straight...someone gets it wrong EVERY NIGHT.

I remember one particularly super *****y lawyer talking about DeMarte, and ranting about how she spent only 12 hours doing EVERYTHING...interviews, testing, evaluating, reading...when the fact is DeMarte spent 12 hours INTERVIEWING JA. That lawyer/commentator needs to hire some better college (high school?) interns to do her research about the trial. Idiots.

I think the blue ribbons might be generally for domestic violence, and they're claiming that Travis abused Jodi, so that's why they're wearing them.

Yes, I do think that's their purpose in wearing the blue ribbons - domestic violence, but I think they all know exactly what happened, and it's insulting that they are wearing them.

I think back to the video of Jodi's mother talking to LE and talking about how Jodi made up some terrible childhood that she never had and how Mom used to try to reason with Jodi about it. She knows perfectly well that she's making all this up now.

You know, I understand that Jodi is their family, but they are wrong to try to bolster her lies with their support. And I know I'm preaching to the choir here! LOL

Does she really think she can just bounce from whatever story isn't working to another one that might? Apparently so.
