Truly disturbing that someone can take ppls profile pictures and make Youtube videos from them and it is protected by youtube if no personal information regarding the ppl are on them.

If she is suppose to be holding the camera at her waist, what are the two things sticking up away from her "body"? Juan called them dog ears

I'm thinking the "dog ears" are her arms and the camera is being held up to her face. BK said on of the shows last night that the problem with this picture is that according to JA's testimony, she was kneeling down when taking pictures, so for THIS particular picture (the stare), if JA were kneeling, then TA would had have to been looking down at her. Who knows. I don't think this picture does a whole lotta anything for either side IMO!

Does anybody else think that Nurmi is trying to get a mistrial more for himself than for Jodi? If he gets a mistrial, can't he walk away from the case and Jodi will have to get a new defense team?

The picture they showed yesterday has always bothered me. To me Travis just looks sad and confused and not like he is posing for a picture at all. I wouldn't be surprised if she hadn't drugged him or already had the gun or knife out.

Looks like she's doing it in retaliation for a lot of reporting of her FB as a means of getting her off FB. Maybe Dr Drew will intervene.

That picture has always bothered me, also. I've always thought he looked scared in it, like he wasn't participating because he wanted to.

This whole thing is ridiculous to me. As if anyone can actually see if Jodi even has a knife or a gun, which would be relatively small in that blur of a picture. And as JVM is saying, who's going to hold a knife or gun in their hands while they're holding a camera, when they're planning to kill someone...she's not going to ANNOUNCE, by holding a weapon, that she's about to kill him!

Laviolette had no business testifying in a criminal case and especially this one, she was nowhere even close to being prepped for this with just family law experience. And her "are you mad at me?" and "time out" comments were indicative of that inexperience.

I just wonder what happened with the initial Defense expert witness, Dr. Cheryl Karp, how come she wasn't used instead of Laviolette? Maybe they thought a DV expert (and she is) would be more pertinent than a psychologist and since they kept Samuels for PTSD, he sufficed.

I hope we move on to the rebuttal today and get this case to the jury soon, all those motions for appeal can come later if Jodi's found guilty as charged.

I agree that ALV shouldn't have testified and I question her "qualifications" as an expert witness.

With that being said, I do believe the "internet" attacking and bullying was way out of hand. I don't think you trash someone's book without ever reading it. People shouldn't threaten or harass someone just because they don't agree with them. It's the prosecutors job to show that ALV wasn't qualified and he did his job. Too many people jumped on a band wagon to destroy her, it just doesn't sit right with me.

Again, I didn't believe her testimony, and I personally thought that she was biased.

I am just so sad. Boston is my hometown, my city. I grew up there. I never missed a Marathon from childhood right through to taking my kids year after year as they grew up. Its one of the biggest traditions for Boston families for New England families for families around the country and world to come to Boston on PATRIOT'S DAY and watch the Boston Marathon. I am so sad for Boston. They are all so sad. 3 killed. A child hugging his dad as he crosses the finish line. 144+ injured. Many losing limbs. This is so senseless. To target a fun fun city on a HISTORIC day in their city is horrific. They are all in so much pain. Please pray for BOSTON.

It's fine to express one's opinion , but to actively set out to destroy someone both personally and professionally is abhorrent .

I wonder if they will use the over - the- top harassment of the expert wtnesss in this case as a reason to refuse to have cameras in the courtroom in future high profile trials?

I agree. I think it is horrible to trash someone just because you don't like their actions.
