Jodi Arias Trial Part 5, starting with Violet STILLLLL rambling April 4

I could be remembering incorrectly, please correct me if I'm wrong. TA was sitting for the pic in the shower where he is looking directly at the camera. Didn't JA testify that she was crouching down when she took it? The outline on the blown-up reflection from TA's eye shows someone standing- how can this be accurate (unless of course JA is lying again)?

You know, I was thinking that today when they were talking about her standing up and that the camera had to be at eye level to get that reflection.

And if the facts of the JA trial and today's bombings in Boston haven't put you over the edge, google that mitigation specialist's husband and his crimes and why he's on death row, and how many times she's gotten him new trials in the interest of "justice".

Oh , I remember her. How on earth do you walk away from your children? I will never wrap my head around that one.

I don't think she can call in. Judge ordered her back in court either Monday and Tuesday as she was still under subpoena. She could pick one of the days. Since she wasn't there today, she has to be there tomorrow. I hope Stephens stands by this.

Yes, that's what Judge Stephens said last week. But it does appear that something transpired today with regard to Violet. So Beth Karas is pondering whether what happened today...and maybe they did it by phone ...means that Violet doesn't have to appear tomorrow. It seemed like Violet was trying to tell the judge that she had some kind of (medical?) tests, and maybe out of our view, they made other arrangements to deal with it. Just passing along what Beth Karas tweeted.

ETA: Violet IS from CA. Maybe it was decided to take care of things by phone so that she could go home rather than sit around on the state of Arizona's dime over a long weekend.

It SHOULD be an open and shut case. She did it. She admitted it. Off to prison for life at least.

You may be right, then I guess Violet got her way.......
I guess we may not know the issue until the transcripts become open after the trial. Darn it...

"The parties have reached a stipulation or an agreement. That stipulation is as follows: Miss Arias was NOT holding a knife or gun in her hands when exhibit #159 was taken. Exhibit 159 is on the screen in front of you. That photograph was taken on June 4th 2008 at 5:29:20. Does anyone want me to repeat the stipulation?..........I see no hands."

I think I'd be torn between choosing to walk away from that trial/get back to my life/never hear the name Jodi Arias again (except for news of her execution), and being curious about what transpired that I couldn't know about during the trial.
