Crap! I forgot about dinner. Dh worked all night last night because we got snow, so he and ds went out for lunch while I watched the trial. I did get ds to go and rent his tux for prom coming up in two weeks. I guess it's leftover pizza tonight, don't want it to go to waste.

Oh..this is the second time that Jodi's sweater has made an appearance this trial. This is the sweater she wore the day she told Nurmi about the killing- ya know, to look as innocent as possible.

I think Darryl was a convenience to Jodi. He was the older man who was going to take care of her. She may have felt that where they worked, with all the female servers there, he liked her best. But she knew from the beginning he didn't want to remarry. He moved back down to a server position (demoted or by choice??) and then they could date. And then they had financial problems and were about to lose their house. Then she meets Travis...young, apparently successful with a lot of potential FROM THE FIRST NIGHT (going to that EXECUTIVE "ball" or whatever it was), he had lots of friends, and she was the one who going to be with the popular guy in the group. Darryl's days with Jodi were numbered after that, so to speak.

I think Darryl was just a laid back kind of guy caught up with the cute young "blonde" sex kitten.

A "souvenir" paddle from an amusement park we went to annually for a family vacation- my brother and I joke with them about how wrong that was

LOL My MOM had a paddle too (not for me but for my much younger brother and sister) I have to admit using it on DS......

Really though- no harm done IMO. Didn't happen too often, no physical or emotional damage. I don't spank my kids but I've certainly not damaged because of it...
