Jodi Arias Trial Part 4, starting with redirect of "expert" Dr Samuels, March 19

Lissette is now tweeting "jury, still seems tuned out some looking down, some looking around the room, some playing with their shirts #jodiarias."

Sounds like they're just as bored with Dr. Sameuls just as much as we are.

I keep posting that a .25 is a pea shooter, it's a tiny casing, probably doesn't weigh much more than a tiddly wink. That's why I say she shot him first thinking it would kill him and at the angle she fired, it didn't even hit anything but a sinus cavity loding in his cheek. She freaked out when it didn't kill him and then resorted to the knife to kill him in a frenzy.
Yup, that's what I think now. ::yes:: I was talking to my DH last night about guns and I got a perspective I didn't have before.

If a shell casing is going to land on top of blood immediately after the gun is shot, it can land there during the struggle or clean up. My personal opinion is that it originally landed on top of his clothes on the floor and when she picked them up to clean up, the casing fell out onto the blood.

Good thing it's lunch break! The dog is crossing his legs! ;)

Gawd, I'm trying to remember on who's FB I saw the picture of Deanna, I knew I shoulda filed it. :rotfl:

Finally break time. :faint: I'm off to reboot computer/router and get stuff ready for dinner.

I like the live tweets from the observers, much better perspective than Nancy Grace's "bombshell" reports. :thumbsup2

That's a damn good one! :thumbsup2

They're not important to know. I was just referring to them at the time because they are the 2 providing live tweets from inside the court room at this time, and they're tweets are being shown on AZCentral.
Ooooohhhh! :thumbsup2 Not watching AZCentral.

I think they've already dismissed Sammy as incompetent and irrelevant.

Ok, blunted affect because of PTSD, so she doesn't show the expected emotions when talking about Travis and killing him. I recall him saying that people who are lying don't show the expected emotions. She didn't show emotion when testifying about the murder. So which is it, PTSD or lying? (or an 'alternate reality') :/

WTH! Jodi has every disorder out there and it all started with that stupid

With That Wooden Spoon!!:rotfl:

I can't stand the way Sammy emphasizes the suffix "TY" in words when he says them ... i.e., probabili-TY, reali-TY, possibili-TY, difficult-TY, etc. ... I know it's petty, but it just grosses me out for some reason  ... :)

I also can't stand the way JA looks at the jury when they enter and leave the courtroom ... She stands up straight with her hands held in front of her with a slight smile on her face so trying to look innocent ... just makes me  ... :)

So you are saying JA shot Travis, realized the bullet did not kill him and instead of just unloading the gun in to him to finish him off with a few more shots. JA instead drops the gun and gets a knife from "somewhere" in the bathroom and decides to stab him to death instead?

Also, what you said STILL does not explain how that shell casing (which while a small caliber is still a piece of metal) magically floated in the air until Jodi stabbed Travis and a pool of blood spurted out below it so it fell on it perfectly (not roll into it) and then was undisturbed during the "Frenzied" stabbing.

To take a quote Seinfeld with my own personal word change, "That is one MAGIC loogie" or in this case shell casing!

I'd agree IF it had rolled into the blood and left a streak or had any blood on top of it, but it landed in the middle of the blood, no blood on top of it, no roll into the blood, it was just sat right in the middle of a already pre-existing pool of blood.

The reason she didn't unload into him may have been because the weapon jammed, it's an automatic and if you recall, Jodi's story about the ninjas includes a jamming ( since she incorporates some truth in her lies).

I became curious after reading earlier today of Deanna Reid. Appears she was a great friend of TA and appears TA left his dog Napoleon (Naps) to her and she has the dog today 5 yrs after his murder. It has a link to her FB page but I couldnt get the link:

Posted by Deanna Reid: "Several people have asked me about Napoleon lately so I thought I'd post a few pics. For those who don't know, Napoleon was Travis's dog. He loved and spoiled him like his was his child. Travis left Naps to me in his will and I am so happy that he did. Naps is the best little buddy ever!" https://www.facebook.com/groups/33785181856/

How does the casing get out of this type of gun? Does the user have to eject it, or does it automatically eject after firing?

Could she have tried to shoot a second time and the attempt caused the casing to eject after a few minutes?

I dunno, just trying to figure it out.

But it's not in the middle:
