Jodi Arias Trial Part 4, starting with redirect of "expert" Dr Samuels, March 19

Good Morning All

OK this pill popping incident........ I think she was faking. According to TV sources, The jail is in charge of her every move and she cannot be given anything without their permission.

Her little stunt with the yellow binder.

She knows the cameras are on her and she is putting on a sick little show.

Wouldn't it have been a hoot if the deputies would have stormed in and took her down after the pill incident???
She really loves this attention.
Her darty little eyes are probably watching when the camera comes in her direction.
She is definitely a sicko but the yellow binder thing ended up being nothing at all. I thought she was trying to hide it too at first but if you watch the video you can see the corner of it ends up on the other side of the monitor. She actually just pushes it across the desk. The camera angle and monitor in the way just made it look like she was being weird.

Michael Marin, in Arizona...he was just convicted of arson for burning down his house for the insurance money. Here's the video:

Sure looks like the guy, but I thought either he, or his attorney stood up and said "I have just taken cyanide and will be dead soon"...it looked like a painful way to go, sure hope he popped a bunch of Advil beforehand.

Not that I know of, but I'm sure there are other videos on youtube that might show a longer version. But the thing with this guy is that they didn't know why he suddenly collapsed and had seizures. Also, it was filmed and on the news and they played the clip over and over again to see if it looked like he really put something in his mouth. So it doesn't appear anyone announced anything.

Hmm, I may have to try to figure out what I'm talking about. But this guy looked like he took something as soon as they said "guilty"...don't want to jump the gun! Wonder how he got it in the courtroom unless he wasn't being held at the jail? Guess I'll go read the story.

In defense of the vomiter in court yesterday...someone on Dr Drew (one of his "jurors" who is in court each day) said that she had just been speaking to this woman minutes before and she was fine. For some reason, it just came over her. I can count how many times I've thrown up and haven't done it in over 20 years (and I definitely knew it was coming, because I was on a ferry and very seasick), but I don't think there's always warning.

Just made me chuckle, because I remember when my DH happened to be home at lunchtime (rare!) and DS was in K, and was so excited that DH was going to be home to see him get on the bus. While we were waiting, DS was totally fine, said he was thirsty, went to get a glass of water, and I heard a splash. Thought it was the water...nope! He had no warning. The reason I remember this so well is that he couldn't go to school because he was sick, but the worse trauma for him was that he couldn't show DH how he takes the bus. LOL

I was just reading from someone who was in the courtroom yesterday. She said that the slimey doctor rolled his suitcase of "notes" right through the court ending vomit. Somehow, that makes up for court ending early.

Let's hope he doesn't catch the stomach bug from his clumsiness and not report today.

Just wanted to add that public vomiting is one of my biggest fears in life. I think it stems from 8 years in a Catholic school and having to attend Mass regularly with the whole school...seems like there was always someone fainting or throwing up. Really pissed off the nuns.

Did anyone see on Nancy Grace where they had a blown up picture of Travis in the shower and in the reflection of his eye someone had a theory that there were 2 people? Seemed like a stretch. Too bad it's not like on CSI where you can just zoom and enhance, zoom and enhance until it's a ultra clear picture of exactly what the reflection was.

Good morning, Kar! Good morning everyone! :wave2:

Jodi putting on a sick show for the cameras would not surprise me. Suddenly she has a fascination with talking to BBB Lady, which she didn't do much of before, smiling sweetly at whomever looks her way, etc. I need that stick-stab smiley just for her. :teeth:

What's this about Slimey Sammy rolling his briefcase through the vomit? Serves him right, I say!

100+ jury questions is what JVM was saying last night, so I guess I better do some typing exercises before court gets started this afternoon. :scared:

On a completely unrelated note, it snowed last night! UGH I am so sick of snow already! :cold:

I'm surprised she (Nancy Grates) didn't get the photo (and interpretation) of Travis' eye that clearly "shows" Jodi standing in a hoodie with the camera in one hand and I think it's a knife in the other hand. I forget, there's so many sleuths in the game so there's too many stories to remember. ;)

Morning, everyone. :goodvibes I'm excited to hear the juror questions.

HOWDY BCF!!! :wave2:

Ya, do you all think that pill popping was FAKE. Like she just did all the motions to get us all talking? Hmm.

AND all that whispering with BBB, I wonder if that is just as fake. Like probably discussing with BBB how much she loves BBB's make-up and jewelry???

Just performing for the cameras sort of thing. :confused3

You are a sweetheart, BCF for typing out all those questions!!! :flower3:

Well truly, could BBB Lady dress any more inappropriately for court? The low-cut shirts, sparkly hair accessories and jewelry, etc? I swear it's all a diversion like Nummy's socks. ::yes:: Speaking of the socks, did you guys see the crazy green striped ones he had on the other day?

As far as Jodi acting, I think she's become so proficient at lying that the acting part just comes natural to her. Look how at ease she was with Flores in the interview room before he started telling her he wasn't believing her BS. "I would never hurt Travis." :littleangel:

I saw this a while back and I zoomed in on my computer, I know you can see Jodi, but I can't see certain things that great so I had my husband use a jewelry magnifier and he could not see what else she may have had in her hand and his vision is darn near perfect. If they could get that blown up to make out that clearly , that would really be darn good evidence about the knife or the gun.

I have not noticed Nummy's socks but I am so waiting for that chair to SNAP and he goes crashing to the ground. :scared:

Oh and as far as Flores, I watch allot of 'The First 48 Hours' and I will say Flores has to be the CALMEST Detective I have ever witnessed when talking to a possible murderer. WOW. Flores KNEW JA murdered Travis and he questioned her for HOURS on end and she denied and denied and denied it yet he just remained so calm with her.

You have to start looking for his socks! They are wild patterns every day and don't ever match the suit. I always crack up when I see them.

Remus, wasn't it you who said you look for them, also? Good morning to you, BTW!
