And since the jury wasn't sequestered that Saturday duty might interfere with more than one of the jurors expectations. The jury was told they would have this duty til April and they are released every day at the same time for lunch and end of day with typically Fridays off, they don't have anything to complain about.

ETA: Although I'd be *****ing I couldn't watch TV or go to the grocery store. LOL

I have to agree. I would rather sit in that courtroom and be paid than go to my job. Heck, we are watching the same trial for free. I wouldn't feel the same if they were sequestered but since they can go home everyday, it might not be so bad.

Tie those magazine messages (witness tampering) directly to Jodi's intended recipient along with her intent to direct testimony, he left that hanging but I'm not so sure that wasn't the result of an objection and ruling from the judge.

Do the Math on that Ford Focus gas tank/mileage with gas purchases on her trip to corroborate she did in fact deviate from her supposed route to Utah to Travis' house (proves intention to go there before she left Yreka since she was borrowing those cans along the way). And this part really makes me question Martinez: Why if you're going to ask Jodi if she'd be surprised that WalMart doesn't have a record of her gas can return, why in the hell didn't he present that evidence? And the fact that he didn't present it, the defense's motion to compel those records from WalMart along with the Tesoro records for that 3rd purchase ($19.65) makes me think Martinez is at the least unprepared and at the worst professional misconduct from a State Prosecutor who works for the government.

And that's the best I can come up with because I don't think the State can prove premeditation despite how much Jodi has lied, although the most compelling evidence for me to convict her of premeditation is her two interrogations with Det Flores. That woman deliberately intended to get away with murder with those stories. If it was self defense, she should have said so when Flores first sat her down in that first interrogation session.

Gawd, just the thought of her in that interrogation room telling her stories...

She posts her notes about the day and her observations of the jury. The other day, there was a lady there with her by the name of Janine Driver. She is a body language expert. She has been on HLN several times. According to her observations, Janine thinks the jury is siding with Juan Martinez. She will be back next week to observe some more.

I believe he has allot to come in this rebuttal. The gas can, as he is calling the lady from Walmart. So there has to be something there. He left the magazines, the remote control and what all in limbo for a reason. I bet the jury is just as anxious as we are to hear what is coming. Juan also has a little more restraint than Nurmi for his objections. He allows them to hang themselves.

Today's hearing with Dr. Samuels is postponed until 1:15 pm ET/10:15 am in Phoenix on Monday. One of the attorneys has a family emergency and couldn't be in court today.
Jurors will now return Monday at 2:00 pm ET/11:00 am in Phoenix.

Why even bother with them coming at 11 and being released for lunch at 12. It probably won't start until 11:30 anyway. They should just skip having the jurors coming in that morning and start with juror-heard testimony in the afternoon.

On the home page, there is a link in the middle that directs you to the trial threads. When you click that link, all the threads will pop up. They are a bit different from the DIS. When they get too many pages, they will close that thread and open a new one. They number those threads and will give you a link to the new one before it closes. The threads move very fast over there so you may have 2 to 3 threads in one day. I believe the current thread is number 86. The court observer thread is the one where the courtroom observers post their observations. I will try to post a link when I get to my computer. I am on my phone now.

That video is ridiculous, Jodi is ridiculous. There's a possibility that some of the jurors knew about this case years ago and have seen the 48 hour special and the other show, each one shows some of her behaviors while waiting for Flores. Or maybe they weeded out people who knew?

Thanks! It was great. It snowed so the conditions were really good. The funny part was I have not skied in 20 years. I lived in the mountains during college and went all the time. Once I finally got the hang of it again my kids were ready to go. Next time I will go solo!

Her "expert" will probably say she had a "condition" known as denial and that video proves she had amnesia.
