One of my fav. parts of today or as Vinny would say, "This was my biggest moment of the day." was when one of the questions was about why didn't you call 911 after you shot him? She said, I was afraid of what would happen to ME. She then thought for a second and backtracked and said I was afraid of what would happen. Left the 'TO ME' part off after thinking for a second. Because of course the only reason she covered up the murder was to protect Travis, it was nothing to do herself. Because in order to explain that he attacked her and it was self defense of course she would have to call him a rapist and a pedophile and unleash every horrible thing she could possibly think of about him. Makes perfect sense. She must take everyone for a complete idiot.

Best part of the day was when she talked so much that even she lost track of what she was talking about & had to ask the judge what they were talking about!

I LOL'ed @ that part too. I was kind of zoning out during her long answer and then she actually bored herself to sleep. "I uhh forgot the question."

I hope the last question is...
"Do you prefer the needle in your right arm or your left arm?"

I told my sister almost the same thing. I told her if I was a juror I would have thrown a little piece of paper in the basket asking if she was afraid of needles.

Anyone see the Dr Drew Video of Travis and Ja at some gathering after a meeting....In public, Her hanging on him like a teen...does not appear Like a dirty little secret to me... They clearly know these people/friends...
He actually talks about death... Sorry no link, but easily googled.

I watched that last night on Dr. Drew, crazy how she acted. If anybody wants, the video in it's entirety is posted on HLNs website. I'm excited to see how today goes. Is there going to be a delay with the start time again? Hopefully not like yesterday, with the objections to questions followed by technical difficulties, followed by a slow start and another issue with technical difficulties. Just because Jodi needs to be back for feeding time doesn't mean that the others can't stick around for an extra 30-45 minutes to go through this stuff so they're ready to roll.

I did see that video, and I agree, she didn't look like she was a 'secret' as she claimed. Looks like they were a 'couple' and they were a couple in front of people too.

Though, I did read somewhere that this video was taken sometime before they broke up. Not sure.

I'm watching Dr Drew (can't stand him) now with my morning coffee. I saw part of the clip Wed night but haven't gotten to the rest. Yeah, Travis and Jodi were pretty publicly cozy. But I have to say...I think there's enough to hang Jodi, and it kills me when things get over-analyzed. For example, in the clip, Jodi is apparently asleep with her head in his lap and then wakes up and sits up. And the commentators Wed were saying "He's talking about a death experience and she couldn't care less"...that type of thing. But she just woke up! And maybe she had already heard that story! I really wish they wouldn't force me to defend Jodi! It's icky.

Also, another brief thought I'm having this morning before my caffeine kicks in...they're showing some of her testimony from yesterday. Someone asked "If you had bruises after the April 8, 2008 incident, why is it that no one else said anything to you about those bruises?" and she said "The same day that the bruises occurred there was a PPL associate who made a joke about it; um, it was very embarrassing." IIRC, she further went on to say that she had tried to cover them with makeup and that the person made a reference to Travis. Does someone REALLY make a joke about someone's bruises??? And someone else inflicting them on her?

I agree with your commentary on the video. To me it appeared that she was sleeping and woke up. It didn't appe ar to me that she even knew what they or Travis was even talking about. But I don't know if I saw the whole clip or just the part where she is laying there then looks like she waking up.

What I was wondering is, if there was even a possibility there was a witness to the bruises, how come we haven't seen one single person. If it is noticeable enough for one person I would imagine that person would say something to another etc. That kind of stuff is like telephone. Especially when the person who they think is responsibile is a 'big deal' in PPL. Kwim. It just came across as false to me. But stranger things have happened.

A hickey..that makes sense. That would be why there was a joke about it.

Totally missed all that! Wonder if that is where Jodi got some of her ideas. Then again, I am not dismissing that they probably had some kinky stuff going on in the interest of keeping the laws of chastity.

The little kid thing though is kinda creepy.

I also find it ODD if nothing else, that someone saw bruises and made a joke of it and related it to Travis....to me sounded like a Hickey......and thats not abuse, thats teen stupidity
She said she was embarrassed....maybe red faced, that does not show abuse ...another concocted story ...along with the rope and many others
