Jo Jo's Circus at Playhouse Disney?

Are the characters from Jo Jo's Circus at Playhouse Disney. That show has become a favorite around here.

We saw Playhouse Disney live on stage last week and no characters from Jo Jo's Circus were included. I agree, my 4 DD loves the show!

Were there characters anywhere on property from Jo Jo's Circus?

It is my understanding that there are no Playhouse Disney characters walking around. I think you see Bear (in the big blue house) Treelo and Tutter on stage, plus Stanley and Dennis...and Rolie Polie Olie.

I wish we could see the Wiggles - I mean, the kids to Yeah, the kids!

I've never heard or seen any of the Playhouse Disney characters except the show and MGM parade. I would love to get a picture made with them though- with the kids of course!!!

I hope they incorporate JoJo's circus soon. It looks like they have most of the lineup. But my 2 1/2 yo lives to watch "Jo Jo" everymorning while I get ready for work.

Another Jo Jo fan.. her not me! LOL

I can understand the Wiggles not being part of it. For one, it'd be hard to copy those guys, and you know Disney isn't going to get the real thing in there. Plus, I wonder if it would be too expensive for Disney to offer maybe because of rights to the name and all that. Not sure how they have that worked out. Jo Jo's Circus, though, is a cartoon. So, very easy to recreate, just like most of the other characters. Oh well, we can't have them all

As commercial as Disney is (and, personally, I don't mind), they seem to really be missing the boat with Playhouse Disney.

We were surprised at how little merchandise is available and, except for the show, that's really it.

Jo Jo's circus is another example of something they are missing.

Where's the Wiggle's (as someone mentioned)?
Where's Kim Possible (for the older kids)?
Heck, where's a little Clay doll I can buy for my DD?

Anyways, IMO, they should add more Playhouse Disney events/characters/toys and maybe they could make even more $$$.

Only one characters from Playhouse Disney does meet-and-greets in the park- Stanley. He's at AK in Conservation Station. Bear, Olie, and Zoe only appear if the Playhouse Disney show is cancelled or during special events (Olie and Zoe were out at MNSSHP this year, for instance).

As for Jo-Jo's Circus, I'm guessing this is a fairly new show. Because Disney does not bring the characters from their TV shows alive in their parks when the show comes out anymore and now wait to see how popular a show is first, it might take up to a year for them to start appearing if the show proves popular. Stanley, for instance, just started appearing this Summer even though his show has been on the air for 2 or so years and Kim Possible characters are rumored to start appearing in the parks in about a year or so.

We were at WDW in February of 2002. We saw Stanley at Playhouse Disney. He was part of the show.

I think what she meant is that Stanley has just started to make appearances (for meet and greets) in the park (not in the show).

This is just a guess - but I dont think that the Wiggles are a Disney owned group -- they are not on the Playhouse Disney Website -- (The are on www.thewiggles.com) and I dont believe you can buy the wiggles merchandise in Disney stores or in any of "the worlds" when you look on the tag of Wiggles Merchandise - it does not have the Disney Logo -- I dont think they are a Disney product - just a show they picked up possibly? When you meet Stanley - he has Dennis in a bowl around his neck...

Isnt the Playhouse Disney show fantastic? One of the kids show at the parks in my opinion.

I have to say I cannot stand Jo Jo's circus so I hope they don't incorporate it. I usually switch the channel to Sesame Street at 7:00. Fortunately my daughter loves the Sesame Street characters.

Awww. we love Jojo's Circus -- it is one of my favorites -- I will say I dont like PB&J otter though...

I don't like PB&J either. As for JoJo, when I saw the previews I was expecting to NOT like it. But after watching the show a couple of times (my DD was attracted to it right away) I think it's actually quite cute. Stanley is my favorite, but JoJo is okay, too. LOL

We like Jojo because it encorouges activity and excersice... We also like Shanna's Show

BTW -- I have no kids - but I watch playhouse Disney with my 2 year old nephew many times a week (as well as my other 4 nieces on occasions...)

My daughter LOVES Jo Jo. I dont' watch them. That is about the only show she shows much interest in besides Wiggles. She'll watch the rest, but she LOVES Jo Jo.

I love the thought of have characters from JoJo's Circus as part of Playhouse Disney, but first they need to make new shows!

My kids love the show, but DH and I can only put up with the same episodes for so long. Actually, we've started seeing which one of us can identify the show first (we're getting really fast)
