The problem is they keep saying that and then people do book. My CM was searching for a actual time on it, not as a special event/dessert party. She kept asking if we wanted breakfast etc. And then just said she couldn't do anything else

Booked a little while ago for 12/7 after about 30+ minutes on hold. No issues. Not sure we'll keep it (were really hoping for the Star Wars one), but at least want to have it and see how the reviews come in. Could be fun! Thanks for all the info here!

Also, has anyone not written down the confirmation number (I didn't have a pen) and still had it show up in MDE automatically? She told me it would, but it's not there nor have I gotten an email yet.

I haven't received an email either but I did write down the number and was able to link it. I would suggest calling later, when the booking frenzy calms down, and asking for the number again

Mine did not show up automatically and I "amateurishly" believed the CM when she said it would show up in my MDE automatically so I also did not write down the number. So I called Dining via DVC and they were able to give me my numbers very quickly and she informed me that since it is considered a "special" event and not a dining event, that it won't show up automatically and would have to be linked. It linked fine once I had the number.

I would call back and ask them about the new Hollywood studios fireworks. When I said Jingle Bell Jingle Bam at first they had no idea what I meant.

Booked for Nov 21!!! Called DVC, had someone slow first who put me on hold 2 times and then I got hung up on. Called again, had a very quick CM who knew what I was talking about and was all around awesome. Her name was Tia. If anyone who's DVC is booking and get her, say hi from Sabrina

I just booked it for the beginning of December. I was first told the date was sold out, then she said to hold on, and said she was searching for a different time, and said there was availability for the 5:45 party. I guess the system showed both a party at 5:45 and a party at 7:45, but no availability for the 7:45 party.

Can't seem to catch a break with this trip... Nov 16 is the only night we can go. So no Dessert Party for us. Hopefully our little ones can stay up until the 9pm show because I really want to see it.

Called just to see if I could get any info about Dec. 31 reservation release time/date. CM knew they were booking through Dec. 10 - so seemed knowledgeable. Said keep calling back - they have no info about when post-Dec. 10 will open. Hope someone here knows or at least gives us some advance notice so that we have a chance!

I am so excited. We were hoping something cool would replace Osbourn Lights. We will be there on the 31st. @yulilin3 any idea what time the christmas show will be? I assume you can not book the party yet?
