I agree that CV was one of the most amazing things I've ever done at WDW. There's also no comparison between that event and any of the dessert parties. But if there are only funds to do one and you enjoy the villains AT ALL, do Club Villain. You won't be disappointed. And it's still possible to watch JBJB without the dessert party.Club Villain is universally reviewed as the best premium experience at WDW. I don't think you can really compare. The only thing that I'd wonder is the cost and having an underage disney adult who can't drink... but if you are ok with that... people LOVE club villain!
For some reason none of the pictures are showing up for me in this thread since last night except for like 2....are they posted anywhere else like facebook or anything where I can see? Thanks
I suggest that the entire group, or at least a good portion of it, check-in as soon as the podium opens so that it can be towards the front of the entry Que. That way you'll get the pick of the tables when the venue opens.
where would we check in-- so where does the line start?
Just watched the dis' video on YouTube. Not sure why they went with the oogie boogie song. They could have done the what's this song and had Santa Claus visiting jack to consult about Christmas. Kind of takes you out of the Christmas spirit to have so much of the show taken up by a Halloween song.
I think I had imagined it'd kind of be like a Wayne and Lannie checking in on Disney characters Christmas eve. Then they'd use them as a framing device and do short clips of fab five Christmas (kind of like they did) and beauty and the beast and muppets and so on.
online is fine but the credit will go back in a couple of days, not right away. Maybe you can post the day and number of guests you are cancelling in case someone here is looking for that dateJust a quick question ---- have never cancelled a prepay event --- ( Used to always attend "Wishes Dessert Party)
Safe to do online, and not have to worry about the refund going back to our card, or is calling the safer/better option ? I try to avoid calling Disney as much as possible !)
TIA !!
I've cancelled several online, no issue. Takes 5 days or so for the refund to show up on my card.Just a quick question ---- have never cancelled a prepay event --- ( Used to always attend "Wishes Dessert Party)

Club Villain is amazing. I would pay double for that event. Tons of desserts and the savory menu is a full meal and Delicious. I have not attended the Dessert party yet( we attended Dec. 3) but from the review here Club Villain will far exceed your expectations. They really are 2 very different events. But if your looking for getting the mot of our money sounds like Club Villain is your better bet even thought it is more expensive. The reviews really have me questioning if I should keep our party reservation. It will be DS(17) and myself and he might enjoy Club Villain more. What to do???

Gonna have to show my fam the pics/food. I have a feeling they'll still wanna do it, but we're already spending A LOT on our trip and honestly, we could probably find a solid spot if we plan out our day well enough and save the money for snacks we really want.
We plan on doing the same ---- we already have Pirate and Pals booked ( my kids fave) and with the money we spent on the JBJB dessert party, we might do La Nouba instead -- (always love the show) or a nice dinner and movie at DS --- I can sort of justify the cost of the dessert party for DW and I ( even if the show looks to be a bit underwhelming) , but not for the lil ones.
