Jiminy Cricket - Anyone seen him lately??

I posted this a while ago, but I thought maybe some of the disers that are just returning might help me too, I need to see Jiminy Cricket, he is one of my favorite characters and I can never find him there, the last time I saw him in the parks was in 1983 and in the Magic Kingdom. Someone please help me find Jiminy!

We just saw JC at EPCOT in June. It was June 18th in fact. Right after the Flower festival they had. He was on the character calvacade bus in the morning(before noon at least). I had heard that he comes out for the flower festival so I am not sure if he was just there then because of it or if he is now going to be around more. Good luck!

Darn, I sure wish he just had a place he was always at like some of the others I really want to see him ....

We saw Jiminy Cricket on the character bus at Epcot on Sunday, July 11th. It was in World Showcase. It was the first time I had ever seen him!

I didn't know Jiminy Cricket did meet and greets!! I have been coming to WDW my whole life and never once have I seen him. I am glad to know that he is around because I will ask about his location when we are there in Sept. When you Wish Upon a Star is my favorite song and I would love to have a photo taken with Jiminy!!!

I don't understand all these posts requesting certain characters.

I was under the impression that you could ask any cast member, and they'd be able to tell where and when a certain character would be.

Is that incorrect?

You're correct, but I also like to know of good places to look for them as well and use asking CMs as a last resort.

Now, on the subject of Jiminy, I've heard he's been appearing occasionally at the Italy Pavillion in EPCOT.

From my experience with the characters meet and greet and meals, the Cm's I've spoke with said they cannot guarantee which characters will be somewhere at any given time, even with some of the meals because as I was told just today, they switch them out from time to time. I was just wondering if anyone had seen him lately because I did not find him when I was down in March.

I will definitely look for him in Italy and like Meeko, if I don't find him I will ask a Cm in Italy where he is.
