We went to Epcot last night, specifically to see Jim Caviezel in the Candlelight Procession. We knew that the early show was closed to the General Public for a special event presentation. When we got there, the 6:45pm line was very long, we went straight to the line and were right in front of Italy. A CM came down the line and said that we would most likely not be getting into the next show. We figured as much and decided to tough it out for the 8:15pm show. After the 6:45pm show went in we were about 100ppl from the front of the General Admission line. In addition to the Candlelight Dinner Package line, there was another group that was assembled next the American Pavilion that went in before us.
When we finally got in, we were in the rear, but right on the center aisle.
The show was fantastic (as always) and it was evident that Jim Caviezel was moved and even choked up at times during the reading. At the end he thanked Walt Disney World for continuing the Candlelight Procession and not turning it into a "Holiday Extravaganza."
He also said a few words about the movie "The Passion of Christ" and thanks Mel Gibson for directing and producing it.
We spent most of the night in line, but it was well worth the time and effort.
Jim will be there tonight (12/6) and tomorrow night (12/7) too.
