I thought Kiptyn would be the one, not really sure it would be Reid's thing. But I would LOVE to watch him week after week!!!

Someone said that Michael was the fan favorite? Really???? He seemed like a nice guy but pretty immature. I can't imagine a whole season of him as the Bachelor!

I wanted to chime in on this whole crazy thing.

I really have to say that Jillian and Reid have "something", why did she get so flustered and upset when she saw him. I also give him a whole bunch of credit for not asking more questions like he wanted to because he is a gentleman and he didn't want to do it on TV.

Also did anyone also catch that both Jillian and Ed have only spent a total of 5 DAYS APART!!!! That is something totally new, they have never allowed that before. If I was a past Bachelor or Bachelorette I would be pretty P'O'd about that. Maybe that is why they are so giddy with each other.

I feel for Reid and I give him alot of credit. I think Kiptyn will be the next Bachelor. I liked Jake but I don't think its his kind of deal.

I agree that there is definitely SOMETHING between Jillian/Reid. You could just FEEL it, it was crazy. They look into each other's eyes like they're the only two people in the world. When he came back in the finale, their faces were about an inch apart while they spoke. They look each other in the eye. She got all emotional and flustered when seeing him on tonight's show and he was brutally honest in saying that he loves her. He is definitely still in love with her and willing to lay it all out there in front of the world.

If she didn't feel anything why would she let him get down on one knee and propose while she stood there grinning like a lunatic? I honestly feel like she went along with what her decision was prior to him showing up because she didn't want to look bad. I'm not saying she doesn't love Ed, I am saying though that what they have isn't as intense as what she and Reid have between them. I still say they may end up together.

I think its time to bring in someone totally new instead of the ones who get dumped...

I think my choice would be for somebody new too.

Personally I don't want to watch a bunch of women throwing themselves at cutie Kiptyn (it's a selfish thing) I would watch though.
I don't get why so many people on this thread don't like Kiptyn.

I didn't watch the ATFR show yet, but I was really happy with the finale. It seemed like Ed really did love Jillian. I hope they do stay together - this show needs a success story.

I am not trying to offend anyone, but I don't find Kiptyn attractive at all. In the show Jillian was always gushing about how "gorgeous" Kiptyn was - I just don't see it. He looks so wrinkly to me. He seems like a nice guy, but I would have never chosen him for his looks.

Out of all the potential candidates for the next Bachelor I would most like to see Reid (such a cutie!) or someone new.

I have to say I was never much of a fan of Reid until last night.

That guy *smoldered*! He was intense!

Did anyone else notice how much he looked like fmr president Bill Clinton in a few shots? My DH (who I forced to watch and who complained of growing a va jay jay because of it) froze the tivo on the closeup of Reid's face and said "who does he look like" and I took a second and went "OMG Bill Clinton!"

I'm torn, now, between voting for Jake, who is totally ready to get married but will probably screw up the entire show because he's going to freak out the girls, or Reid, who will defintely be entertaining to watch but may not be ready emotionally after having his heart smashed twice.



If they pick someone new I won't watch; I don't particularly like the bachelor shows (men shouldn't do the picking), so I'd need to have a guy that I was already rooting for on the bachelorette to keep watching.

Ed and Jillian look really happy together! I'm glad she's moving to Chicago.

They do look very happy together. And I got the feeling that she was in love with Ed for a while and she just had to play out the rest of the show. I think she did have feeling for Reid but I think it was more along the lines of I don't want to see him get hurt, because he is a really great guy. And the longer they stay on the show the more they have a chance of falling for her when her heart already belongs to someone else.

The "rumor" was that people were voting for him and his twin. They wanted a twin brother Bachelor season.

And I am that I talk like I am a producer from the show! Really I just read that on one of the gossip sites. So maybe he wasn't a fan favorite. I thought he was cute.

Because she didn't expect to see him? She was in the Final Rose mind-set and suddenly Reid shows up when she was expecting Ed. I saw her reaction more as an "Oh no! Not this!" than "Oh no! What am I going to do?!?"

It wasn't that I didn't like Kiptyn, he just didn't seem that into the show. He seemed like he wanted to win so he could say he won - not to say he was with Jillian. He never seemed very enthusiastic about it! He would be a boring Bachelor and like a PP said - you KNOW it would be a bunch of bimbo's throwing themselves at him. At least if it was Jake you know he might give normal girls a chance.

I think that Reid and Jill had the biggest connection and were meant to be. He just didn't seem serious enough about a commitment and Ed was the only one who honestly said he would marry her. Kiptyn got a ring but never said to her face/asked her dad for her hand like Ed.

Jill didn't want to find love, she just wanted to get married!!!!!

I think Ed loves Jillian and she acted like she cares for him, but there was something different about her interaction with Reid.

And when Chris told Reid he could ask her questions and Reid held back, I almost felt as though Jillian were waiting for him to ask a question that could allow her to tell him she loved him. She looked hopeful, almost.

Just a really awkward moment.

I like this idea. The challenges can be things like getting the best ADRs etc. "we're in EPCOT and you're taking me to Electric Umbrella??? I'm sorry but you have to leave the show NOW!!!!" Then Mickey shows up to escort the guy out of the park.

I just watched yesterday's episode. Poor Reid, I felt so bad for him. I hope he's the next bachelor. I didn't think I would make it through this season after the first episode. That girl made some really WEIRD choices. Foot fetish guy? I would have sent him home immediately. I had decided to watch until Reid left and then I was going to quit. Guess that didn't work out very well....

I totally agree. I don't think he's ugly, he's just kind of average. I wouldn't take a second look at him on the street.

Yep, from the neck up he's a terrible bore.
