Thank you for doing that Happygirl. I do see the white lettering, and have tried so hard not to read "spoilers" on my usual sites like FORT or Jokers. I don't care about stuff that happened on the show already, if I have not watched it, I don't read the thread. It is the future spoilers and rumors that I am trying to avoid.

Next week is Men Tell All, following Monday is the "last" episode with the Final Rose Ceremony. The next night will be After The Final Rose.

As for watching last night, I think it is a "take it or leave it" type episode. I enjoyed it, but would probably not watch my DVR if I had missed it.

I think this whole spoiler thing is just ridiculous.

First of all, to me, a spoiler is a thread that reveals the big info/finally before it has aired everywhere.... Like telling the big surprise ending of a movie before everyone has had a chance to go see it. I do not think I have seen a spoiler on here yet.

Speculation, rumor, and innuendo are like white on rice... they are out there... If you, personally, are not interested, then move along..... What has been posted has clearly been hidden from any unsuspecting eyes. Nobody but the reader is to blame... If you don't like it, don't read it. Your responsibility.

How ridiculous for anyone to think that others can only post what they themselves might find acceptable.

There has been no open spoilers on this thread because it was not previously a spoiler thread. This spoilers like who is going to be F1 (which has NOT been aired) and other rumors have been in white text on a white background and clearly marked. I have no problem with that. None. Zero. Zilch. Not a big deal. I can highlight and read or leave alone as I choose. It is a common way to include spoilers on a non-spoiler thread. Once the thread became a "spoiler thread" all of the spoilers can be posted without being hidden as the title of the thread warns you of the possibility. That was what I objected to.

Nobody but the reader is to blame... If you don't like it, don't read it. Your responsibility.

That's easy to say, but how is someone supposed to avoid open spoilers on a spoiler thread ?

You seem to get a kick out of being the TV reality show thread queen by starting "official threads" but as the thread starter of a popular TV show thread you have a responsibility to the people who follow the thread. To change this from a non-spoiler thread to a spoiler thread in the last two weeks of the show is very rude. It's the ultimate bait and switch for people who do not want to be spoiled on the ending. It is especially rude when we discussed if this should be a spoiler thread six full weeks ago when there were two competing threads (yours and NeverEnoughWDW's thread) and it was decided to keep this one an non-spoiler thread and we all migrated here. I was OK with either one at the time ... spoiler or non-spoiler, yours or NeverEnough's ... but not with only 2 weeks left to go!

ETA: I just read the rest of what you added. We talked about it 6 weeks ago, but you just made it into a spoiler thread last week. That is my objection.

I agree, and I've seen other posts on this thread where people also agree. I discussed this previously with happygirl last week, and got so frustrated, I hadn't been back, but dropped by tonight (hoping I wouldn't see spoilers.) Maybe there should be two threads next time...spoiler and non-spoiler. And happygirl's should be the spoiler thread, because I don't want to be on a thread that's going to change mid-stream on a whim.

I'm not "OH MY GOD!" with my panties in a wad , thank you very much. I want to enjoy the show and talk about it. But if a thread is established as a non-spoiler...just discussing the info that's presented on the show...and posters' speculations, and then it switches to inside info and info gleaned from spoiler sites, it takes the fun away from the people who didn't expect it. Posting what's happened on the show before it's aired on the west coast is NOT an issue, because they know not to read the thread before they've watched the show.

Now I'm going to go bang my head against the wall.

so the whole deal with the massage oil etc... was too much for me.

and then... lets say Ed did experience E.D.... did Jilllian call up the camera crew and say.???.. "hey guys get back in here.. we got something cool to show the folks at home"

I was thinking the same thing. I think the whole fantasy suite date with Ed was staged. I mean that was just too graphic. For a minute I felt like I was watching a soap opera. I mean how would the camera crew know to stick around cause Ed will clam up. Then the whole massaging the legs with the lotion and Jillian in her nightie.

ITA! I just had to laugh when watching that scene! It was soooo staged! I think the producers just did that to throw the viewers off thinking she might not choose him because of his , ummm, shall we say, less than stellar performance in the fantasy suite.

OMG I changed it back!! I had no idea it was a huge deal. We have done spoilers the whole show. I will continue to do spoilers in this thread. I enjoy doing them and I know several people who enjoy reading them.
