Jikos completely booked for 8/10???

I called today for ADRs for my trip that begins 8/6. I was interested in Jikos for dinner on 8/10 but was told they have no tables for 2 at all that night? I have to call back on Friday to book Victoria and Alberts since it only allowed to be booked EXACTLY 180 days out so I also call the dining number and ask again but that sounds so strange! Anything going on that day that I should know about?

Guess I'll try again on Friday and then consider switcing to a different restaurant.

Hmmm...it's probably booked b/c too many of us Dis'ers have raved about it in the past....so let me start by saying yuck! It's awful! Don't even THINK about dining there. (that way there will be more room for me.... )

That really surprises me! Try when the time gets closer, or even when you get to WDW. We were at WDW Thanksgiving week, a busy time, and sitting around one night decided to see what might be available, preferrably at AKL, the next night. We couldn't get anything at Bomas the night beforehand, but we got 6:40 at Jikos without a problem-great meal too!

A lot of resturants have a limited number of tables for two. Try calling back and saying you have three in your party and see if they have a table. When you arrive for your ps just tell them the third cancelled on you.

It's within the realm of possibility that it is booked up for a function of some sort. Like a rehersal dinner or something.
