Jiko wine tasting/dvc discount?

I was reading a blog on allears net and it referenced that Jiko is now offering wine tasting. I'm wondering if this is available to everyone, and if there is a DVC discount for it? Anyone have any specifics?

It's on Wednesdays and it was VERY hard to find someone who knew about it to sign up. In the end my cousin did it, she received a phone message last Tuesday night. Since she's not DVC I don't know about a discount, but she enjoyed the experience. I'll ask her for specifics.

I've done one other wine tasting on a cruise.* It was similar, but I preferred this one since it was comparing Cabs and not different types of wine.* I think on the cruise there were 5 wines with cheeses and fruit.

We did the Wine Tasting at Jiko on our girls trip in May. It was really good. I have the info for the person who does the presentation. It is at home right now, but I can PM you later this evening.

We sampled 5 different wines and they also provided various fruits and cheeses as well. It was very nicely done and we found it to be a little something different to do.

I am a DVC member and AP holder. I asked if there were any discounts associated to either of those and was told there was not. The cost was $25 per person and then we included a gratuity as well.

I am scheduled to do it this December - very excited. Make sure you don't try to reserve by calling Disney Dining. Instead of showing that I had to call a number at Jiko, it just showed no availability to the CM. Honestly, I never thought to ask about a discount because $25 seemed so reasonable.
