Did anyone look into Jiko for their dinner reception after an escape ceremony? I'm very interested in having the wine room divided for a maximum of 20 people (my number! woo hoo!) Does anyone have the catering menus for this location? I've emailed my planner to ask if I should work with her or contact the resturant directly, but I'm very eager to see the menus :rolleyes1 If you have the the coveted menus please email them to me!!! I would be eternally greatful! :flower3:

Thanks!

Here is a link to there normal menu. I don't know if they have a special menu for catering or not. Just adding my two cents here, that place is fabulous. I have eaten there twice, and had good service and food both times.

Yeah, I guess I'm assuming that there would be catering menus since there is a $2500 minimum that you have to meet (according to mouseweddings.com, I think???) I've never ate there but the atmosphere looks to be exactly what I want with a still private area (wine room) with in my budget! Whew, if it can live up to all that and the food and service is good.... I'm in business! lol. Thanks for posting the allearsnet menu PrincessBride07  ; I had already looked at that and that's what I was making the majority of my decision based on. It's good to hear that the food and service rock! :woohoo:

If it is any help at all, I was watching one of the Food Networks specials on DFTW's, and one bride was in the wine room for her rehearsal and had the filet mignon which is off the normal menu. They also mentioned a few other items (like the tastes of Africa), which were off the normal menu too. So, maybe it is just you have to order at least $2500.

What a wonderful place! I love the food there. I think no matter what you choose, you can't go wrong. Personally, the scallops and then the salad (I can't remember which one now.) is scrumptious.
