"Jib Jab"? What can you tell me about it?

DGD just made some holiday videos on there tonight that are awesome! However, you have to join and pay if you want to save these videos - as well as do other things.. (Some aspects are free - most you have to become a member and pay for..)

I can't find anywhere on the site where it tells how much it costs to join - prior to going through the whole "sign up" process.. It's something she really enjoys, but without having any pricing and further info I don't know if I should open the account on my computer - under my name - or her computer - under her name..

I know that's about as clear as mud - LOL - but maybe someone here will know what I'm talking about..

The idea isn't to "post" them - rather to be able to save them onto DVD's that can be played on a DVD player, the television. etc..

There's all these different characters (with music, scenery, and such) and basically you put your face and the face of your friends on them to make these videos..

Probably still not all that clear - LOL..

I know what you're talking about! I've made a couple of those videos, they're cute. I'm a free member, so I can see the upgrade price - it's $12 a year for a membership. BUT, then you have to pay for each movie you download. I don't know if it's the same for every video, but I just tried the "snowball fight" one, and it said it was $4.99.

Oh when you said she "made them" I thought she actually made them. My dd has a bunch of accounts that she makes vids.

I have no idea if JibJab will let you burn them to a DVD. I know nothing about that kind of technology so you will have to find someone else to ask.

Yep - that's it!! They're so darn cute.. I did see the $4.99, but I thought that was only what you had to pay if you were "not" a member.. So what do you get for the $12??

She did the snowball fight; the disco dancing; and one more that I can't think of right now..

So.. the 4.99 must be the non-member price, but it doesn't say anywhere what the member discounted price is.

Hmmmm.. Don't think I'd be interested in paying a membership fee without knowing upfront what the discount was on the downloads.. To me that sounds a bit "sneaky"..
