Hi Guys
Has anyone bought nice Jewelery at either the Florida Mall or the Mall at Mallina and is it expensive. What i really mean do you get more for your money over there.Thank a lot.

No ideas on this one except that someone, on the customs thread, mentioned buying jewellery cos it was reasonably priced

They did mention that they had to pay when they got to Customs and declared it though

Well i haven't bought any but i know they have Tiffanys over there and i have heard that the jewelery is lovely

Yes, have bought jewellery at the Florida Mall and Festival Bay.
However, mainly from the stalls rather than at actual stores.

Have found the quality and prices very good.

Yes, daughter bought Tiffany necklace and bracelet at Mall at Millenia in May. They cost $250 and $175 respectively! She says that she saved about £40 each item. She also bought Jimmy Choo shoes which she assures me were a bargain at $500!!!! OOPS forgot to declare them at customs

Bought a diamond solitaire for DW (long story) from Jareds at the top of I-Drive then had it valued on our return for Insurance purposes,ended up being worth 1/2 as much again as we paid for it. Obviously I was a bad boy & didn't declare it but then what would have been the point,I could have just bought it here! I think the more you pay the bigger the difference but it really depends a lot on the exchange rate at the time

Mall at Millenia has some excellent jewellery stores. I have bought some lovely stuff fromTiffanys and also from the Swarovski store.

I got a lovely watch from the jewellery shop on Main Street USA in the MK. Cost me about $300 and it is outstanding.

If you go to Downtown Disney and go into The World of Disney store, they have a large jewellery section that has a good raange from 14K gold, sterling silver and watches. It also offers the kids cheaper jewellery.

I got a gold neckless with a mickey silhouette in main street usa it cost $300 2 years ago I never take it off and when I am down it cheers me up.

The Millenia Mall does have some nice jewelry stores in it, however I feel that the markup is very high. Usually all mall jewelry stores have a higher markup.
I have been pricing jewelry out because we are going on a Carribean cruise to which I will be buying some jewelry in St.Thomas and St. Martin. The "mall" stores are priced quite high. Just an F.Y.I. Plus there are the taxes on top of the retail prices too.
I am not sure of the prices in the UK, they may be higher then the USA so I guess it would be a good deal in that case.

I have also bought items from Tiffany and a Gucci watch and they were much cheaper than here in the UK. I saved £150 on my watch. If you are after a very expensive purchase you may find that the store will pay your sales tax for you.

There is "nice" Disney themed jewellery all over WDW

As already mentioned there is a good selection at WOD and also if memory serves correctly a good choice at Mouse Gear in Epcot

We bought my engagement ring at the Florida mall and it was worth around an extra £500 when we had it valued at home. We also bought our wedding rings in May and these we're a few hundred pounds savings aswell. See the orlando trend going on here?? lucky we are getting married there I suppose! LOL)
