Hank Baskett was thrown off the Philadelphia Eagles so they could make room for Michael Vick. Hank Baskett makes it to the Super Bowl. Hmmm...how did that happen?? Sometimes getting fired isn't such a bad thing

Another example:

Matt Stover was let go by the Ravens because he was too old. The Raven's lost at least 2 games because they have no decent kicker... And Stover is going to the SuperBowl

This is a better example....since Stover actually contributed to the team and the Ravens ended up with kicker problems.

While Baskett brought some attention due to his wife, he didn't actually do anything on the field to help them win.

At the end of the day though, they'll both get a Superbowl champs ring!!
