I never got through to them either.... Now they are no longer taking calls!
Can someone tell me if they automatically refund the fare or do I need to actually contact them I tried to do it online and my refund was only $0.40!

From what I've read earlier today, their phone lines are jammed up - all the slots are taken so many callers are just getting a recording to try again later and then it hangs up. They physically don't have the capacity to take this many calls right now.They aren't taking calls?
Did you buy a roundtrip on the new airline? If so I would just call your CC company and open a dispute. At some point you are probably going to HAVE to talk to them. (You might point out that cancelling the flight was bad, not taking calls is INEXCUSEABLE!)
I think I got something on United for tomorrow.... it is 400 per person though!!
I am so mad at Jet Blue. Of the 5 flights out of Boston tomorrow only ours was cancelled!!!
