Hey everyone! Just wondering if any has experience or knows how they work. Last year we flew out Sept 6th. Our original fare kept going down so we were issued a credit. My friend had booked the tickets for us and we paid her back. So i dont know if they all ended up under her name or not. But we have about $100 a piece for a credit. Now do these get issued for 1 year from the date you flew? Or is it a year from the date they were issued? Anyone ever have luck in getting them extended? I dont know that we want to go on before the 6th this year.

Do you have a true blue # ? If so it is credited to that. Very easy to use. If not, you have to call and speak to them. As far as I know it is good for 1 year from the flight.

it's a year from being issued. i think they do extend if need be. but chances are your friend got all the credit if they purchased all the tickets and then called for it. if your friend calls, they might be able to transfer from one trueblue account to another..

I have a credit due to expire in May, which is one year from when credit was issued. I need a flight for Christmas this year and was afraid it would expire before Dec fairs came out. I was told I could book a "dummy" flight so that my credit doesn't expire and would have to pay the flight change/cancellation charge ($30/pp)when my desired flight became available. I was told ot could not be extending, so if anyone has a had a different experience I would be interested in how they were able to get it.

JB credits are transferable. Your friend got the credit if she booked the tickets, but if you get a True Blue account, she can transfer them to you.

Thank you everyone. Still not sure if its from issue date or flight date but I will have my friend find out. We are hopping to book our package thursday if free dining comes out then we will look at flights. I am not sure when she got the credits but we didnt buy the tickets before last june so we still have time. THanks all!!

My credit would expire on October 11 (if I hadn't applied it to a September flight) but I was told that's when I had to BOOK by, not when I had to FLY by*.
